Good value
This TV was purchased for use in a small room and fits the bill perfectly. Assembly and set-up are straightforward. Picture and sound quality both very good. Excellent value for the price. My only grumble is the electrical plug. This is a chunky integrated plug/powerpack with a continental type 2 pin plug. It requires an adaptor for standard UK sockets - that shouldn't be necessary with a new purchase.

Has european 2 pin plug!!
I have no idea what the TV is like, but is sold with a european 2 pin plug. Very disappointing for a new TV being sold on a UK site!!

Useless for the UK as it comes with psu with fixed euro 2-pin plug! Don't buy in the UK.

A four and a three
This is a review of LG 24MT49S-PZ 24" Smart LED TV. This little set has good picture quality. All I had to do was change the aspect ratio from default 16:9 to Original so that I could watch old films in their proper shape instead of seeing them stretched absurdly to fit the screen.Using a high-quality indoor aerial the set pulled in 138 TV stations and 31 radio stations, so its tuner is definitely sensitive!On the downside, some functions (such as switching to TV Guide) can be clunky and slow. And as usual with TVs of this size, the sound won’t do – for me this caused problems.I had hoped to run a pair of powered loudspeakers from the earphone socket (3.5mm jack) as I had done on other TVs but this does not have one. I had to buy a digital audio converter (DAC).No earphone socket then, and only one USB socket whereas I needed at least two, so the connectivity is not wonderful. That’s why I rate this basically four-star TV as a three-star.
