Includes USB hub with 2 type A ports!
First up: This monitor does in fact have two USB A ports, and acts as a usb hub when you use a usb c input from a macbook pro (or presumably other usb-c device). There was conflicting information on this when I was researching this purchase, but it does include the same ports as ports as the 32UD99-W. In fact I have not been able to find anything different about this monitor, the 32MU99-W, and the 32UD99-W. If you look on the LG website for this monitor, you can find a manual that lists both models. Considering this version is priced considerably lower at the time of this review, that makes it a bargain in my eyes.I've only had the monitor for a few days, so can only give my initial impressions. What I wanted out of a monitor was plenty of real estate, 4k, great color accuracy for photo editing, and usb type-c with power delivery and hub for a one cable solution when plugging in my laptop. So far this monitor hits all those notes. My accessories plug into the USB type-a ports on the back of the monitor, and I've got a clean setup with just one cord for the laptop connection. The IPS panel display is beautiful, it looks awesome next to the retina display on the macbook. The single joystick button to adjust settings on the monitor works well. The stand has a ton of adjustability in terms of height and tilt, and it feels solid. And as a bonus this monitor looks nice, thin bezels and a very clean design.I haven't tested the HDR features, and gaming performance is not critical for me. But if this monitor is indeed the same as the 32UD99-W, which I believe it is, there are plenty of reviews on the web that will give you more info on that side of things.

Almost like the curved edges on some smartphones
Ordered 2 of these to replace my aging HD 1080 monitors. The panel has a really odd warping to it on the sides. Almost like the curved edges on some smartphones. It results in strange distortions of the image along the entire perimeter. Kinda makes my eyes feel funny like looking at a hologram. Most definitely not good for editing and GFX. I don't like the way it distorts 4k video and will be returning both units. The back lighting is also not terrific. It really rolls off if you move side to side at all. Sitting in the center makes the side edges look a little dark.Wish I had good things to say. This model gets a lot of positive reviews but, the reality is that at this price point I expected more than I got.***I gave this monitor an honest shot. Adding stars because it is a real nice looking panel. It just didn't quite work for me.

Consistent blackouts and sounds outages
I purchased this monitor for use with my Xbox one X console. The picture quality is great and the design is very nice but there is a huge flaw in the product with seemingly no fix. Every so often the screen and sound will black out for 2-3 seconds. Sometimes just the sound cuts out and sometimes the sound never comes back on unless you turn the monitor off and back on. This happens at least 10 times a day and can be really frustrating for online gaming or watching tv. I’ve tried several hdmi cords including high bandwidth cords. I’ve tried turning off freesync and hdr settings, i’ve tried all of the above with lower brightness and the issue still persists. It’s very disappointing when a name brand monitor like lg can’t function properly. If anyone has a permanent fix i’d gladly change my review.

Great monitor for a bargain price
I've spent like 2 weeks trying to figure out what is the difference between this and the UD99, and there is only one MU has 3 year warranty wheres UD99 has 1 year. MU99 is actually the "business" model whereas UD99 is the consumer one. Suggested price for MU99 is $2,000 on LG webpage which must be because of 3 year warranty. However MU is currently selling cheaper than UD99 which I think is a result of simple supply-demand balance. So, no brainer, MU99 is a good deal.

Broken in 8 months. Frustrating warranty claims process.
USB C port stopped working within 8 months. LG warranty claims experience is very frustrating. Had to call in multiple times to get a shipment claims label after nearly 20 days of filing the claim. On top of that I had to pay 50$ to pack and ship it as their claims department wouldn't ship me a box with a label. I'll never buy another LG product.

Display failed after 11 months
The display developed a progressive greenish pixel discoloration in one corner that slowly spread down and around every corner and border of the display over the course of three weeks. LG and the seller tell me it's technically out of warranty and I'm SOL. You'd hope for something other than a $600 paperweight, but here we are.

This monitor is the same as the highly rated 32UD99-W it's the business model with 3 year warranty!
I use it for everyday computing. I upgraded from a LG 23" which was great but this monitor is fabulous. I wouldn't recommend anything smaller when using 4K resolution. I made that mistake at first buying a 27" 4K monitor which I needed to return.

Big time issues with Xbox One X
Don't buy it if you plan to use with Xbox. Save yourself the time and hassle of setting it up and troubleshooting just to have to repackage and return.

More nits would have been nice.
Shipment arrived one business day earlier than anticipated and was well packed. I'm still testing how it handles various frame rates and resolutions, but Bladerunner: 2049 UHD and Ready Player One UHD (both with HDR10) looked gorgeous. More nits would have been nice, but 32" UHD HDR10 monitor choices are limited. This was the best one I could find. So far so good.
