Perfect
I bought this to put inside our chicken coop during the winter. The clip is strong enough to hold onto a strip that is about a 1/4" thick. Bright enough to give our chickens the needed light during the short winter days. The timer settings work perfectly, I use the 4 hour setting and have never had an issue. The controls are exposed to the weather and are not affected at all.

Smokey Smell when Used for Longer than 10 Minutes
Well it produces heat... Along with a funky smell. Thankfully my baby bird actually didn't need the heat lamp bc you can't leave it on for longer than 5 minutes (ten if it's on the lowest setting) before a burning smell is omitted by the lamp itself. I'm really disappointed. I don't recommend.

Pretty useful heat lsmp
Although great lamp it gets super hot. You have to set it a distance to not feel like it's going to set something on fire. It gets the job done. Pets stay warm. The clip is much help. Bulb went out a few months after purchase.

This is the perfect lamp for my turtle! The bendable neck is very convenient, the timer buttons are very convenient as well, and the brightness is adjustable to my liking. Best value for money.
