Great controller and feels premium
Easy to connect (Plug and Play) and responsive controller. Great price with the controller feeling premium. Connects to android tv via bluetooth with no issues, doesnt work in windows in bluetooth mode but connects via the 2.4ghz dongle, with the dongle connection providing a stable connection with no apparant lag. Even though the controller doesnt avertise it, I did attempt to connect to a Apple tv / tvos with the controller on Firmware version 1.09, but unfortuantly it does not work, which is a shame. Overall, highly recommend for Windows PC, feels more responsive than xbox series controller and is cheaper.

Great replacement from xbox controller!
£25 could not go wrong. Love the mint colour with orange highlights. Works as is on Steam for me setup like xbox button config. Got it ready for Resident Evil Requiem since I feel better using controller on these types of games as opposed to mouse & keyboard. Feels comfortable in hands and lightweight compared to an xbox controller. Also like the fact is rechargeable so no need to mess around changing batteries. Used it for around 10 hours so far on first charge and still going so not sure on final usage time. The 2.4 wireless USB adapter comes in the same mint colour which helps myself not misplace it when I remove it when not in use to free up ports. The charging cable is also in the same mint green. Overall very impressed with this level of quality controller on my PC for the price! 10 out of 10!

Incredible value for money and wonderful playful design.
Incredible little device - amazing value for money, solid build quality, brilliant button feel and it's rechargable. Seems impossible at the price point. Highest of recommends!

Nice overall, but feels a bit weird in hand. Not for switch
Buttons and sticks feel great, just a bit awkward to hold. Does not work on switch, there is another version that's made for switch that's a little more expensive.

As good as the best controllers
This controller is the best value for money ever, as good as any official xbox or nintendo controller for half the price, and has hall effect sticks and triggers, pairs with your PC or steam deck or nintendo effortlessly, such a good controller, very happy, and who doesn't love the colours.

Cannot go wrong for £25
Honestly I'm quite stunned at the quality, all the buttons feel high quality and satisfying to press. It has a nice weight to it and the texture/materials used just make it really nice to hold. Comparing it directly to an Xbox Series X controller I think I genuinely would say this controller is the same or higher quality than Series X controller. Combined with the hall effect sticks and triggers I much prefer this controller. Compatibility through Steam seems the same as the Series X controller (plug & play) so no issues there. Extra features that are also great: Comes with internal battery and is charged with USB-C, sticks have a metal stem which make them feel super smooth when rotating. Comes with 2.4ghz USB (Xbox charges £35 alone for this). It's a no brainer for me, I always had this thought that third party controllers were like the 2005 off brand cheap plastic stuff but no, this controller is honestly great and I would recommend to people for £25 you wont be disappointed.

Good Value, Easy to use and Durable
The controller is easy to set up and is ideal for use with a PC. It can be used either with the small usb wifi adapter it is packaged with, or also via bluetooth, which means you can use it with a mobile, tablet or laptop too. The buttons are generally solid and responsive, with additional buttons in the centre of the controller and at the shoulders. The shoulder buttons are perhaps a little bit more sensitive than on the Microsoft Xbox controllers, requiring less force to depress. I have not experience any stick drift and have used it for difficult platformers requring precise input (such a Super Meat Boy), with no issues or dead zones. Overall its a good value product and ideal as a cheaper alternative to the official Xbox controllers, with the bonus of having tighter, more durable sticks in my experience.

I recently purchased the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller for use with my Windows PC and Android devices, and I am thoroughly impressed. Design and Build Quality The controller has a sleek and ergonomic design that feels comfortable during extended gaming sessions. The matte finish provides a good grip, and the build quality is solid, giving it a premium feel despite its affordable price. Performance The 1000Hz polling rate ensures ultra-responsive input, which is noticeable in fast-paced games. The Hall Effect joysticks and triggers offer precise control and are a significant upgrade over traditional potentiometer-based inputs. The remappable L4/R4 bumpers add versatility, allowing for customized control schemes without the need for additional software. Compatibility and Connectivity Connecting the controller to both my PC and Android phone was straightforward. The 2.4G wireless connection is stable, and switching between devices is seamless. The inclusion of a mode switch button simplifies toggling between platforms. Battery Life The battery life is impressive, lasting several days of regular use on a single charge. This longevity makes it a reliable companion for both casual and extended gaming sessions. Conclusion Overall, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller offers exceptional value for its price. Its combination of high-end features, solid build quality, and cross-platform compatibility makes it an excellent choice for gamers looking for a versatile and reliable controller. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a quality gamepad for PC and Android gaming.

I wanted to give this controller a few months of heavy use before giving it an honest review. I got this controller in later October 2025, been using it for majority of the time since then (02/10/2026 time of this review). I have mostly used it for Switch emulation, GameCube/Wii emulation and a couple of PC games. I am happy to say the controller is MORE than good enough to give it a solid 5 stars! If It was possible I would bump it down to 4.8 (more on that later, don't worry, it's not deal breaker, at least for me). When you see a high Amazon score in this day and age, it's sometimes difficult to take it seriously because of how many botted reviews there are on some products out there but if you are in the same boat as me and are paranoid about reviews, let me put those worries to bed for you. The reviews are not exaggerated or overblown! This controller really is THAT GOOD! Let's dive into the positives I have with it, then we'll jump into the negative (yes not plural, one SMALL negative). THE POSITIVES - Doesn't feel cheaply made: Sure, it is for sure much lighter than the AAA developed controllers most people are familiar with but that is the least of my worries. Besides it feeling light, the build doesn't look cheap despite the price you are paying for it. It's hard to describe into words unless you hold it yourself. - No stick drift on either the left and right stick: I have owned AAA officially licenced controllers before and some of them have stick drift within a few months, still haven't had that issue. That's what the Hall Effect technology in this controller is for and it ACTUALLY works! Metal joints - anti-stick drift. I wish ALL controller companies would adopt this technology but they don't do it to intentionally make you spend $100 later down the road again for their product. At least with 8BitDo, they don't cheap out. If you are sick of spending $100 on a controller just because of the name and it has stick drift issues just a few months in, this controller is perfect for you. It seems you will actually get good use out of this! Buttons STILL WORK AS NEW! - Another big issue I was sick and tired of seeing with all of the controllers I bought in the past. It doesn't matter if it was cheap brand 3rd party controller knockoffs or the real thing, eventually with how heavy I game, one or 2 of the buttons will at first get sticky and barely pop back out than eventually get COMPLETELY stuck into the controller! Sure, you could just buy rubber button pads to replace them, if you know what you are doing that is by taking the controller apart, etc. HOWEVER with this controller, STILL no issues with buttons getting stuck! They still work like brand new buttons. I would figure there would be SOME wear and tear by now but I am honestly flabergasted a controller company finally managed to get something right! It's that rare! Now for the ONE NEGATIVE: (and honorable mention but could be my fault) - This really isn't THAT much of a deal breaker for me, it really isn't but the controller is a tad too small for the average hands. If you are used to holding a Xbox controller, Switch or even Playstation you probably got used to the perfect size to fit your hands and this might be the one thing that might make you decide not to buy this controller. I hope it isn't especially if you are sick of the stick drifts and the buttons getting stuck like I said earlier. It will take some getting used (it did for me). It isn't really that small, just smaller than those controllers I mentioned, it doesn't fit perfectly is all I am saying. If you can get over that, this controller is perfect for you! The honorable mention negative (again could be my fault). Those extra buttons (L4 & R4 - under shoulder buttons) I haven't got to work for anything I have played so far, at least emulation wise. To be fair, I haven't tested it on any Steam games or anything, so if it works for you on Steam with input mappings, GREAT! Glad you got it to work for you but emulation at least with Switch and Gamecube/Wii so far, those buttons won't map out at all. Not even close to a deal breaker though. I don't need those buttons for anything, so does most games. Perhaps could be used for shortcuts of some kind on PC, sure but that's the extent of the use for them I bet. Anyways, to wrap up. Really a 4.8. Only .2 points docked for size, otherwise no exaggeration, THE BEST controller I have ever owned! It works as advertised, and haven't had a SINGLE issue with it thus far! Almost 4 months of use by the way. I WILL continue to buy from 8BitDo going forward. They have a customer for life right here!

This is a solid controller that works very well. The build quality feels durable and it’s comfortable for gaming. It also has a convenient shortcut for Steam, which is a nice bonus.

Buena compra.
