My 9 year old wanted some fun colors in her hair (just some streaks & the ends) for summer time.. we tried 2 other brands and the colors were gone after the first wash. I wanted to find a brand without having to bleach her hair AND THIS BRAND IS AWESOME!! These pictures are a week after applying & she has been swimming 2x with it. I definitely recommend!!!

This brand of color is very pigmented, which is awesome. However, if you have no experience coloring hair, I would stay away. It's very messy and you need to be very cautious as it stains the skin very easy. Wash your hair out real well because I have woken up with a pink neck. I have used a few shades in this line and they are all lovely.

Used on my gray streaks to add some pizazz. Love the shade, but I did add a splash of conditioner because it was so thick in the bottle. 25 minutes, no developer needed. It's probably darker on bleached hair, but it's a lovely lavender on my natural grays with a few tsps of conditioner. If lighter shade is desired, add more conditioner.

If you want green hair you need to buy Super Green. I bleached my hair about a week before dying it with the Raw Super Green dye. The color is exactly what I wanted which is a rich emerald green.Here are some pros and cons about the dye:Pros--The color is very rich and vibrant and true to the name.-Has not faded at all after 3 washes and a day in the rain.-Smelled pleasant, kind of like bubble gum.-My whole head turned out one color and was not patchy.Cons--The dye is thicker and does not spread easily.-I needed almost 2 full bottles for short/medium hair.-IT IS A MESS!!!!! It instantly stains everything it comes in to contact with. It is terrible. The sink, bathtub, skin, etc... It stained even after scrubbing directly after it made contact. I'm sure it will come out eventually but I'm not looking forward to touch ups or re applying.-I spent over 30 minutes rinsing the dye out of Mt hair and the water still had not ran clear. I became impatient and exited the shower before waiting for the water to run clear. Because I was impatient, the dye ran down my face in the rain the next day. That was my fault.-After 3 washes my water still isn't running clear. The color has not faded but I'd like to sweat without staining my face green. I want to use this brand and color again because I love the way it turned out. I most likely will try it again when this starts fading. Im sure I can make a few changes to my dying routine to maybe make the process less messy. It does scare me to think about using it again though.

So dark! And closer to blue than purple in most lighting.

Color-wise, it’s a nice indigo color. Not quite blue not quite purple but a deep indigo, which is nice.Background: I have Asian hair that’s been pro colored blue. It was stripped first then Joico Intensity Sapphire color applied. I’d been maintaining my color with Joico about every 3 weeks. Joico colors my hair well and does not stain my hands or clothes after the initial rinse and wash.Raw color is very intensely deep in color BUT it gets everywhere afterwards no matter how many washes. My hands still come away blue, as do my clothes, neck, pillow, everything.I’m hoping this will eventually stop.Update: This is now nearly 2 weeks later and the incidental staining seems to have stopped. I attribute this to 2 factors. 1) it's 2 weeks later and 2) the majority of the incidental staining occurred in Florida (I live in CA but was vacationing for a week in FL). The humidity there just wreaks havoc with this hair product. The dye gets left on everything it touches, hands, neck, towels, pillows, sheets, clothes, etc. Since being back I've noticed almost no more staining. I had changed the rating from 3 stars to 4 because the initial rinse and wash was still pretty messy but the color is really vibrant and lasting. I've gotten many compliments. And there's been no noticeable color fade. If this keeps up I'd trade the initial messiness for long term color. Changing to 5 stars.

I used this exact green dye for years when I was younger and decided to try it out again. It does what it says, colors pre lightened hair a deep and long lasting hue. (Note: other reviewers dyeing their kiddos hair with this and having minimal luck; it may have to do with the hairs porosity. Bleached hair takes these types of dye better than naturally light hair will.)Cons:Product has somewhat changed over the years in terms of consistency. VERY thick. This was fixed by adding a small amount of conditioner and mixing thoroughly. It did not affect the efficacy of the dye but was a hassle to get out of the bottle.Stains skin and other surfaces worse than, say, manic panic. This should be avoidable with petroleumjelly on the hairline and preparation of dyeing area. Still, it happens.Does not take to darker hair like I remember. Some of my hair was only lightened to a med-light brown and usually this isn’t an issue, the color usually came out as a deep emerald and the rest a vibrant green. Strangely, this time some of my hair is muddied and almost black. Not easy to fix and as a result my dye job is a little patchy.It leaves your hair d r y. Use conditioner and hair masks regularly after this, especially if you’ve bleached your hair prior. Not as conditioning as iroiro brand or manic panic but it is more pigmented.Pros:Highly pigmented and long lasting compared to other brands.Affordable, clocking in at less than arctic fox and manic panic. About the same as punky color and splat.Generally beautiful color payoff without using a ton of product. I have almost half a bottle left after fully saturating my shoulder length bob. (Reminder: I did mix in a little bit of conditioner with the product.)Bottom line - it does the job, and well. A utilitarian option that I would recommend to someone on a budget.

I am pretty satisfied with this hair color. It's better than any other hair dye i have used in terms of thw fading of colour. I applied it last month and till now i have washed my hair 10-15 times and the color has not faded much. It still looks great. The only problem with this dye is that in the first few washes it stains almost everything.. even if the hair gets wet due to sweat it starts staining whatever im wearing.. even after a month it stains clothes when it is wet but its less now . Otherwise i love this product.
