Well, it doesn't quite work as it should, but okay apart from that.
Not quite right, the blade needs a special tool and hammer to bang it out, and then the new blade won't snap shut so just stays open all the time. Hmm. Not sure why. Nice thought though. If they could get this right, it would be a great cheap solution.

Not great
These keys are not great, easy enough to swap everything over but they don't stay together afterwards, they come apart far too easily, I've had them for 2 weeks and they've come apart while in the ignition twice.

Bad fit
Looks the same but unfortunately really cheaply made, and doesn't fit the key correctly, had to cut away some plastic so the key could rotate in and out. Spring mechanism is also poor. It will do for now as the old housing got destroyed completely. But I wouldn't recommend or buy another.

Falling apart already
Not good value for money . It doesn’t work properly and it doesn’t clip back into place strong enough. It has came apart twice and I can’t contact seller to ask questions.

OK for Vauhall Excite but utilise existing spindle if you can
I got this for a 2014 Vauxhall Astra Excite (a misnomer if ever there was one). The existing fob still just about worked but it was smashed to pieces (see photo). It's easy to prise open and it is literally a two minute job swapping over the electronics, battery and key shaft. I did take a punt on this and it does work but the spindle that holds the key shaft in place is a slightly different shape to the Excite's. I can close and open the shaft, but it doesn't spring open when I press the button and it's stiff when I try to close it. In an ideal world, I would have swapped over the spindle from my excisting one, but that was broken too.

Good spare
Good quality, does the job it's meant to. Good value for peace of mind having a spare key
