Ematic FunTab Pro 7" Android 4.0 Kid Safe Tablet

We had an older version of this product so we knew it was a good product - our son loves it. However when we received this item it was missing one of the face plates and did not have the correct charger included. So we could not charge it. Luckily the older version we already had used the same charger so we could use it. However I contacted the company TWICE via email from their customer web site with no response either time trying to get the blue face plate and wall charger that was missing. In hindsight I should have returned the item but with a 3 year old already holding it and wanting to play it we kept it since we had the parts from the older version to make it work. I just assumed that their customer service would take care of it and make it right. I have never not had a response from a company like this.

We bought this particular tablet for our 2 year old son who was getting very into our smartphones and not giving them back. We loved the features it offered by reading the product information and just though this was the best of them all. When we got the tablet it was to charge 6 hours before use and you must have a Wi-Fi to set this up. The features of the tablet are as it says but the games that come stock "Where's My Water?" "Noogra Nuts" "Angry Birds" ect are all full of ads because they are the free versions. I have tried many ways to download the full app to avoid this the price is worth the games. The video email is the only program you can use, we have tried many ways to use the tablet for a Skype conversation but it does not allow it. The customer service is HORRIBLE! The makers of this product use a hired customer relations company that is only reachable by internet and when you send in an email for support it takes literally weeks for a response to come back. We were having issues with the battery not charging fully when plugged in all night and I wrote the company about this when I finally, and I mean finally, got a response they wanted me to mail my product to the company. Let the company assess the product and it would be 4-6 weeks before the product would be returned or replaced. I thought that was just awful because my son loves his tab and we paid the extra shipping for the tab to get here in two days when we bought it so I wasn't going to loose it for 4-6 weeks! I dislike the support and the company should be ashamed for the product they have! The tablet itself is a great idea and does entertain my child and he is learning as well but there are so many useless apps. You can purchase a premium package through Zoodles (the games come from them) and get some extra things but I was mistaken thinking this would unlock some of the apps from the ads that plague them. My son will hit the ads and it will cause the game he's playing to just stop. Some times it will go to the parent part of the program where my kid is browsing on things that he shouldn't be on. I would just be careful and find your way around the tablet before you hand it over to your child. I must say I was seriously disappointed with this product when it arrived and I actually got into it, but my son loves it and that was the main goal anyways.

I bought this tablet for my son who is currently 1.5 years old. We already had the Zoodles app on my android tablet and I wanted a tablet for him so he would not use my tablet. We charged the tablet the full 6 hours before first use. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Logged into the Zoodles app and I was pleased that his zoodles story book recordings all loaded! My son loves the preloaded educational apps, and I love that he learns as he plays. We have had this tablet for two weeks, weve loaded 3 of his favorite movies and have had no problems. We use it daily, we charge it overnight, and now I have no more little finger smudges on My tablet!Update.... its been 3 months, tablet still works great, my son has dropped it, smashed it with other toys and it has held up. Highly recommend!

Final update: 11/2016A couple weeks ago, my son put it down only to find the screen wouldn't work anymore when he picked it up ten minutes later. It lights up around the edges, but won't do anything else now. Under a year old, with part time use, and I'm having to try to get the money back and get him a new one. I'm told it's under warranty but can't get the information to get it replaced, so hopefully Amazon can get it sorted out soon. He's heartbroken. Not getting another like this!!Ordered for my son's 3rd birthday. Came very quickly, packaged well and in perfect condition. I do recommend charging first if giving as a gift. I set it up and charged it before wrapping it for him, and the safety features are quite enough for me to feel comfortable letting him play with it on his own. He absolutely loves it, and I like that I can modify the controls as he gets better with it. It feels durable, although I'm going to see about getting a thicker case to carry it in because the little sleeve just feels flimsy. Overall, I'm glad I bought it, and would definitely recommend it for parents looking to allow their toddler to have a tablet! We all love the educational games, and has plenty of them! You have to pay for the books, and it doesn't come with Amazon App Store or Google Play, but there's ways to add that. Oh, and get a memory card! But definitely a good tablet for kids! (Excuse me while I get it from my husband so I can charge it... Lol)***UPDATE*** 5/29/16I found out that the little app they run on it to let you download stuff is not working right. I would have to send it to the manufacturer for that to be fixed. So I'm working on doing that, because my son sees the teasers of what he could have, and I can't get it for him. I did try to download amazon underground to it, via apk, however that didn't work. My son does like it, but I wish it came with the right software on it to work properly and use ALL the features.P.S. Definitely love the volume lock feature. I can shut it off and my son won't drive everyone in the vicinity crazy with the sounds from his games!

We gave this to my niece for Christmas, and she loves it. It is well built, and durable. She plays games on it, and we love that it is made specific for kids.

Our kids found them really hard to use, we ended up having issues with them and had to send them back. The customer service for sending them back and getting a refund was awsome!

The tablet was ok, Screen had a scratch on it . It was a bday gift for my 6 year old daughter so we let her use it but the scratch became a crack and the tablet is now unoperatable. She enjoyed it while it lasted but it was expensive 2 week gift that she can't use
