as our puppy approached old age we looked for anything to help her...these chews apparently tasted good as she never balked at taking them...they provided relief in her final years...

Years ago our vet suggested glucosamine for our arthritic Sheltie. She went from lame to playful again. We understood the need for the vitamin. Several Shelties later, we continue to give glucosamine. We have tried to offer it in several forms - a chalky tablet, an expensive powder, or "hiding" a pill. Once I discovered these chews at a major Pet Chain, I found the perfect way to give 500 mg of glucosamine, although a little pricey.Our nightly routine is to let our pair out for their last potty of the day & reward them with the chew. They LOVE them! Each chew is individually wrapped to stay soft. The texture is like a real caramel - I stretch it out & offer it bit by bit. The scent is so good, I am tempted to treat myself. (I HAVE tasted it - and would eat it - but its not fair to them.)Searching Amazon for another pet item, I noticed these same chews* at a much better price.Now I order them on-line: No running to the mall area + saving money = Bow-WOW! *These Vitamin Chews are made by GNC, but their stores do not stock pet items.

I put my dog on these a couple of years ago when he started to get stiff joints with old age. I could tell a difference in a fairly short amount of time in his ability to get around better. The problem is, I believe they may have been discontinued because now I am unable to find these anywhere. I got a different version from the pet store from the same company that are now soft chews that I just started him on and am hoping to have the same good results, but it is too soon to tell.

I was surprised how much this helped my dog. He is 7 and had a hip/leg injury. After limping for several years, we were shocked when after 1-2 weeks on these, he suddenly stopped limping. We don't give him the full dose all the time because he does well on a partial dose given regularly, and then on bad days, we give him extra for several days. Really happy with these. He didn't like the bacon flavor as well as the beef.

I use this product to help protect my large dogs’ hips and joints. It’s been a part of our routine for years. This supplier, however, showed a longer than usual lead time and then didn’t even make that.

My German Shepherd mix has been on this particular brand and dose for 6 years, ever since she had surgeries on both rear legs to repair damaged CCLs (in humans they're called ACLs). She'll be 10 very soon and still runs like the wind. I've been having trouble finding this item for weeks as it appears to have been discontinued. Thanks to this seller, I bought their last 6 bottles. Initially the delivery was estimated to be weeks after I placed the order, but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in 4 days. I'm very happy overall with this purchase and seller.

Have two English bulldogs that have been using these for years. They are prone to hip/joint issues and for both of them being 8 yrs old they have no joint issues. I give them one in the morning and one at night with there food and they eat it no problem. The price of these compared to a pet store are amazing also.

I don't see any miracles yet but we're only a month and a half in. I trust the person who recommended the as she shelters German Shepherds and huskies. She said it might take a while. My dogs clearly enjoy them. And, I feel less guilty about her arthritis. Win. Win. Win.

Received it with less than 6 months of shelf life. It is ridiculous for my dog to finish it before it expires.
