The parts in this kit are of such low quality! this is by no means my first water pump rebuild.I bought this kit because i need the inner seal to fix a leak. I bought 2 kits one for each motor.rebuilt the leaking pump first. seal failed and leaked a lot on the first hour after install. Clean shaft surface lubed seal installed with a seal driver square to the housing. failed immediately. Second kit the impeller would not go onto the shaft without filing the splines. then the bearing failed within 15 minutes and took out the impeller.Save yourself the trouble and get OEM

Every thing you need to replace the bearing in your impeller, except mine needed some thread-locker/Bearing-retainer compound. (Mine didn't have the inner snap ring).This job isn't easy at all (no fault of this kit).Consider buying a whole new pump housing instead, but $250+ is a lot to spend.

Bearing is deeper, so snap ring doesn't fit. Not sure what is up with that

This was the correct looking part. But it looks like this center of the impeller bushing is not machine correctly and does not fit over the shaft on the pump. I tried it on my original pump and another replacement pump that I had. It didn't fit either one.

I installed the kit last weekend and took the boat to the lake this weekend for the first time this year. once I put the boat in the water it began to overheat. I took everything a part on the lake to find the brand new impeller was not working. the metal core was not bonded to the rubber impeller, so it just spun inside the rubber impeller. Luckley I limped it to the marina and the mechanic gave me a used volvo impeller. He saved my day forsure I cant return the junk because I purchased it last month.
