Works Like it Says it Would
I recently replaced the brake lines on my RV. Overall, there was over 80’ of brake lines, so it only made sense to purchase coils. The Kwix made easy work of straightening the tubing so it was ready for use. It wasn’t dead arrow straight, but it was more then adequate for my needs and 100x better then I could ever accomplish by hand. Overall, a 10’ length of pipe would be left with about 1/2”-3/4” overall bow in the middle as a nice smooth curve across the entire length. For practice purposes, how often do you go 10’ without an intentional bend anyway? Needless to say, if you are debating between this or a more expensive bench top straightener, this was worth every penny!

They TOTALLY work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All right these seem to be a bit pricey. If you can get your employer to reimburse you then go for it. Otherwise, be glad you paid for a QUALITY tool. I have been installing a lot of Mini Splits and the line sets always get tangled and are next to impossible to straighten up. Customers LOVE plumb and level looking pipe! They do, Trust me.HCT is much more expensive than the line set and will not hand bend without annealing first. After I hang the first bracket & clamp I run this AWESOME tool up and down the whole run and Viola! It is straight and looks great. I had no idea that I would LOVE these products so much. They make my work look so much more professional and cleaner. Management loves it, The customers love it and want us back. And I paid a hundred bucks for a tool that makes me look like a God! I have the 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and just ordered the 5/8 for my next job. If you are a professional Pipe Fitter or HVAC Tech that likes to make it all look clean do yourself a favor and buy these! You'll NOT regret it!

Simply does NOT do the job
One star, as any tool that does not perform its intended function gets that automatically. Was going to return this, but decided to use the wheels to re-make the tool in my machine shop- Staggered the wheels & now it's better, if not perfect. The results are 'Straight-ISH'. At BEST. You are NOT gonna get a straight tube out of this, and if you need that, just pony up for straight tube. Waviness is around 2 mm. peak-to-valley, not subtle at all. I think the wheels, being directly across from each other, just provides a series of pinch points, and as the wheels are 1.5 inches center-to-center (With tube totally unsupported in between) I don't see how the designer expected anything different than a vague, general result. I rebuilt it withe wheels .986 on centers, and staggered them so each wheel hits the tube right BETWEEN the 2 opposite wheels instead of just pinching it: The combo of putting wheels closer together & staggering them works MUCH better: But I have a shop available to me and you likely don't, so from the factory....Meh. I am not saying I'm a genius here, but the design seems the same with all these type of tools and is not right, and I don't see a better price-effective way to do tube straightening any differently. Either way, running it over the tube several times, and twisting the tool radially so a given wheel hits all sides of the tube, will help, but won't save it from itself.

Easy to make professional quality work.
I’m using this for HVAC 3/8” copper tubing. Couldn’t be happier to have this tool. Works as it should and is easy to use. Adds a nice touch and makes things look professional. I’m able to make accurate bends in my tubing. Takes just seconds to use.

This tool works as described.
I use thousands of feet of coiled copper tube a year sizes 3/8, 5/16, 1/4, 3/16, 1/8 and have two of each. I have to straighten the tube before cutting to hold +/- .010" in the blank currently making1200 pcs. 18"long and recoil the tube to 1-1/2 centerline with on center tangents.

A very effective tool!
Does a great job! Be certain to purchase the pipe straightener with the PrimoChill UK green label! This tool works best when it is either held by a helper or secured on a table. Simply push and pull a short length of pipe back and forth through the pipe straightener until it glides smoothly; then push and pull the next section of pipe through the straightener, in like manner, until the entire length of pipe is straight. This requires a little strength but not a lot.
