KastKing Centron Lite Fishing Rod and Reel Combo, Baitcaster & Spinning

I could hardly wait until this rod and reel showed up at my doorstep ! It's a great combo and fishes great, I have been a KastKing customer for many years and I Highly recommend them. They have great gear and are priced right.

Good rod user friendly. Good quality and great casting. Color is superb 👌

Decent smaller bait caster for finesse presentations. A good all around set up for small crank baits and spinner baits. Fit and finish are superb, the white on white and blue accents are quite handsome. No cons to speak of in the 20 or so times I've fished with it. Like all my fishing purchases, I will do my best to review later on down the road. ***Edit*** I've had this combo now for 3 months. I felt it justifys additional review now. I've caught over 100 fish with it. Mostly fishing with spinner baits and crank baits. It's a better setup for smaller spinner baits like the double willow leaf pond magic ones. Also better for smaller shallow running crankbaits. I had one birds nest after I got it dialed in correctly. I say this because the controls are kind of clunky. They have no audible click during setting. So it's trial and error to get them back to correct setting if they're messed with. That's the only negative so far I've found. My review hasn't changed regarding over time. It's still a great value combo.

Hey I bought my rod. About a year ago. And my tip snapped off. Is there a warranty on these rods. I am seeing the same thing. Everyone’s tip breaks off. If I could order a new tip I would be satisfied

Bought it as my first fishing rod and reel and it did not disappoint. It casts far and smoothly. But after some use the lettering came off. I just have one complaint its about the handles. For me they are a little too small and they get dirty pretty easily but it still works.

First time buying a combo and I’m really impressed, for the price it’s perfect, and a great rod for beginners or professionals.I will be buying from kast king again

Was super excited to receive this rod and reel combo. Took it out to the local lake for some small sun fishing and it caught quite a few very immature fish probably 3 to 4 inches long not much of a fight for a rod of this size, but not even an hour into our fishing adventure, a good 7 inches snapped off the end of the rod without any warning and with usual customary use of the rod. I couldn’t believe the rod snapped that easily and in particular one made by such a great company such as caking, whom I trust from my fishing suppliesl to say the least I was beyond disappointed. Now Amazon is saying I can’t return it and I had been hoping to get a refund on this ride so I could get a different casing rod that seems to be a bit sturdier appearing in the pictures. FI paid for a half hour of use of this rod for it to break and be unusable. I can’t see purchasing from Kast King again despite having having quite a few casting rods and reels that I have been happy with in previous years. How can this remedied? I really don’t wanna give up this manufacturer products but now I am a bit skeptical as to the quality and certainly if I can’t return a broken product then I definitely won’t be buying any more KastKing items. Wondering if it’s the rod model itself or if I’d be better off with the medium heavy Rodd real combo instead of the medium. Just for thoroughness, I did order the bait caster version not the spinning version as I have many spinning reels and wanted to increase my choices of casting reels. So so so so sad. I loved everything about this combo until it broke. For the cost, I would recommend going with another product, especially cause you can’t return it if it’s been opened, which makes no sense since how can you know if it works if it’s not been opened?

I'm giving this product 5 stars due to the fact I am a rookie angler. This is the first bait cast reel I have owned. I watched a few videos then ordered this. I haven't bird nested it yet.

Great product

Looks good but don't expect it to last long. Bought one for my son and the rod snapped on a routine cast after only about 2 weeks of use and maybe 30 casts. He was just casting a smaller chatterbait and bam, gone. Snapped about 3/4 of the way up the rod without any warning. But because it was a birthday present, the return window of 30 days had closed already.

This rod broke the second cast the first time my kid used it. Can’t get a hold of anyone for a replacement. A complete waste of money.
