Indesit EWE91482W A++ Rated Freestanding Washing Machine - White [Energy Class A++]

Upgraded from idnesit 7kg innex with 50min quickwash 1200spin to this 9kg 1400 spin indesit.Delivery: Text message in morning to state approx what time it would arrive. It was on time. Drivers brought machine into the house. Standard service no extra fee.Packaging: Well packaged. You will need a 10mm spanner to remove 4 x transit bolts from back of machine. Includes a water hose pipe (not fitted) and a water drain hose (fitted) both about a metre long.Washing Machine:Very good. Mostly silent. You can tell it is on when it is taking water in or when it spins on 1400 but even then it is moderate. The rest of the time it runs almost silently. I would say my kettle makes more noise.Programs (max spin speed is pre set by factory based on wash cycle selected)express wash :20 min = 30 Temp 800 spinquick wash : 30 Min = 40 Temp 800 Spin45 Min wash: = 45 Temp 1000 Spin50 Mn = (shoe cycle, 1200spin, temp = will fill later)59 min = (Will fill this later)1:30 = (Will fill this later)3h = 90 temp = 1400 spinspin cycle = 10 min = max spin set by personal preferenceThese are the main programs. I'm guessing most are concerned with the quick wash cycles.- Like most machines you will need to do an extra 10 min spin cycle after your main wash to get the 1400 spin.- prior to purchasing i noticed some people complained about water remaining in door rubber or extra spin required as not being able to set the spin to max on most programs. The spin max on te he wash cycle is pretty much box standard factory set by all brands. As for water don't over load the machine with clothes (leave some gap in the drum) and maybe you won't get water stuck in the rubber gasket. Personally i have not had this isssue. Use the extra spin cycle fi your clothes are still somewhat wet from the man wash.- I also noticed some people complain about machines not spinning right due to incorrectly balanced drum. Not in my experience.it runs just right.- You can only downshift the temp or spin on a set wash program from the factory set not upshift. The max temp/spin for each program is set.- i only use the 30 min or 45 min cycle to wash. i find both are adequate to wash clothes clean. I dont use the 20min unless very light load and is mostly clean.- there is a delay timer button so lets say you havve stuffed your clothes in the machine but want to start it in te morning then just press the delay tmer button and keep pressing it until you reach the desired delay time.FYI the machine uses concrete as a counterweight. Most brands do but its a scumbag move by all the brands as it will erode away over time. I woud guess a premium machine would be using iron or some metal. I only noticed as i titled the machone on its side when unloading.

My old standard mounting fixture fits on this machine to allow the tumble dryer to sit on the top of the washer thus saving space and looks good in the utility room.

Ordered it 3.30am thursday delivered 9.30am saturday. You will need a 10mm spanner to remove the bolts that keep drum in place while in transit. The machine looks great with its digital display & is so smooth & hardly any sound, even on 1400 spin cycle. The 9kg drum is big enough 4 large throws & adult size sleeping bags without filling the drum. Well worth paying bit extra 4 this quality washing machine!!

The short time washes are excellent...This machine has replaced another Indesit that has lasted me 18 years...The previous was another Indesit tha lasted me 19 years...Each machine was better than the previous one...and this one has excelled all of them...Economical...easy to use and silent...I keep looking for something to wash ...just to check it’s ability...Now they should invent an Indesit machine that operates like Alexa...and you’ll never be out of the utility room...😂😂😂

This is really hard for me to write, as the machine is lovely, and I absolutely will be getting one myself, when my ancient machine dies, as it does appear to be great quality & value for money.However, even though my Mum is absolutely loving this new washing machine, we did not buy it from Amazon, even though we had completed the purchase (on the strength of the Q&A section saying that installation & recycling was available "on request", which is completely untrue).The device is actually from AO (ao.com) but you are ONLY able to arrange installation & recycling of the old unit if you order the device at their website, and because my Mum is elderly, we were completely reliant on this. I had to speak to AO and they requested that I cancel the Amazon order & reorder via their website. All the while, 2 credit card payments had been processed. Not my most enjoyable Amazon experience.

It's a washing machine ... what can I say ... it washes

Much better than the Beco I had previously. Easy to use, quiet enough with quick programmes. The timer is a bit strange because it’s not always accurate but I wouldn’t let that put you off buying it. It’s a great washer so far.

Lovely machine which take a big load. Easy to set up and use. Only draw back is the hose is a bit on the short side but we're getting along OK so far.
