They have tabs to separate the two pieces but leave the adhesive residue on the the part needed...useless.

Instrument gauge fit just fine. But not the middle display. The cut was off a bit. Dry fitted different angles the protective film is just not cut properly.

Does not stick, extremely flimsy

Feel like Kawasaki kind of screwed the pooch on this on, delivering a gauge cluster that's both easy to scratch and once scratched, catches the light in a way that amplifies every scratch on it. That's not this product's fault, though, and even though my Z650RS already has some scratches on it, I applied this to try to minimize the long-term issue. Is this basically a repurposed cellphone glare cover recut to fit a motorcycle gauge cluster? Absolutely, but that's just fine. Comes with a pouch of prep materials (alcohol wipe, microfiber cloth, sticky 'dust remover', etc) that do the prep job OK. The plastic stick-on covers fit my bike and are nicely, clearly marked (just remove the #1 side first, then the #2 side after application, easy peasy). The only complaint I'd have here is that the applicator (a paper/cardboard thing) basically disintegrates by the time you're on the second or third of the three appliques; if you have a leftover applicator from a cellphone screen cover, this may be helpful. No other complaints, does the job and fits great (not sure on the Z900RS, but I'm pretty sure they reused the same gauge cluster on the Z650RS).
