Awesome but kind of gross!
My child has begged for this doll for months. I found a better price here than Walmart so it was her birthday present. I gave it five stars because she's tickled pink over this thing. I'm writing the review to warn you that this doll is gross. You give it water from the bottle, it pees when you press a button and then it 'poops' a charm. What happens is there's a charm in a water soluble paper type stuff in the underwear, then when water hits it from the pee, it turns into a gelled, goopy mess. I just put a towel under the doll and had my daughter feed it the whole bottle of water to wash some of the gunk off. I still had to wash the charms before I put them on the bracelet. Also, the charms don't truly connect to the bracelet, just wrap around, so she has to keep it in a special place. It's a choking hazard so I can't let her have it near my two younger boys. Overall it's a cool toy and like I said, she adores the thing, but I was sort of grossed out by the process.

She loves it, that's all that matters.
We got this for our 4 year old for Christmas and she just adores this doll. She has carried around her "baby" since opening it Christmas morning. The doll itself is well made and very cute. I really like that the diapers are re-useable even after the baby has "pooped" the charm. After the charm has been removed, the diapers change color and reveal images when wet.Just as an FYI for the adults -- the charm doesn't "poop" out automatically as soon as you push the babies belly button. What happens is the baby drinks the water, you push the belly button and then inside the diaper there is a film that dissolves when the water hits it and reveals the charm. So if at all possible, try to have the little parent wait a moment or two after pushing the belly button to check for the pooped charm. We found if our daughter checked too quickly, the water hadn't dissolved the film and there was no charm to be found.

Actual Review of Diaper Surprise Doll
While most of the reviews on this doll are people being "funny" (I question the sanity of people sitting around making up fake Amazon reviews for fun), this is an actual review... My daughter really wanted this doll after seeing the commercial on t.v. I thought it was sort of a gross idea, but remembered having a Baby Alive and other dolls that I fed and had to change the diapers of when I was a kid. I thought they were fun! This doll comes with a baby bottle and spoon, and the diapers are reusable for pretend play later on. The charm bracelet was a hit with my daughter, and the doll is still fun for dramatic play after the charms are gone.Plus, it's Lalaloopsy, and my daughter loves that show!

Cute Baby Doll & the Surprise Really isn't As Awful as First Appears!
At first I had NO idea what to expect with this doll. Between all of the hype & then the parents who took one look at the commercial's and had the "Not MY Child" reaction, I had no idea what I would be receiving! But, the package came & the doll is seriously cute to begin with. The accessories are generous considering the usual pieces that this line of dolls has. She appears well made & the diaper trick isn't as grotesque as people are making it out to be. This little doll is much cleaner & neater than the other wetting type dollies and the charms are cute! My daughter loves her baby & can't wait to get more diapers to collect the charms!

This is the only thing my Granddaughter asked Santa for this year and she is not a happy camper. In the words of a very disappointed 5 year old: : This is dumb. It's the worst present ever. (insert sobs and tears) I can't believe it only has one charm. That's not magic. I'm never playing with this stupid doll again.

5 minutes of fun, then just an unplayed with doll.
It is what it is, and functioned accordingly. However I don't like it as my daughter only played with it until all of the diaper surprises were used up. Good thing i wasted money on the refill pack, as that gave her an extra 5 minuets playing with the doll, and left a huge wet spot on my floor. Now that the surprises are all gone, so is the toy. My daughter now has no interest in the doll.

Daughter likes "Pooping" Doll" for a week
I personally don't find the Lalaloopsy dolls that charming, but my 5 year old daughter LOVED the "pooping charms doll" for about a week. She has lost interest in her because finding the same charm in a diaper is only fun for so long, though she still thinks the doll is "sooo cute".
