HORRIBLE waste of money. NOT a toenail clipper. It's a large fingernail clipper, barely can get a thumbnail in the opening. Will not be able to cut ANY adult toenail. The cheapest of materials.

This works beautifully on Softer toe nails. Not to well on tough ones though. I can use it on all but my big toe nail.

The idea behind this product is great. The execution not so good. Unlike other reviewers I don't consider this "junk" and it hasn't broken...yet. I wanted this because due to a running injury I am unable to reach to my right foot without terrible pain. this product does what I want but not quite as good as I would like. You may need to snip smaller portions of nail since there is very little leverage to close the clippers fully. I would guess that thick or tough nails would NOT be cut. Be aware of the limitations of this clipper. it is horribly over priced. With tax and shipping my order came to $80.00. Ridiculous. A more fair price would be near $15.00. this product should be considered a temporary solution to a small problem. If you think you will need something like this permanently...don't buy this product.

WARNING,, DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS TOY..It doesn't cut anything as it cant produce enough pull to close the clippers..It just made my toes bleed and ripped off the end of the nail, as it was too dull to clip anything (maybe mashed potatoes?) and way too expensive for the quality..

It works after a fashion, but not well enough to be truly useful. It is simply a regular nail clipper attached to a handle and leverage for working the clipper. As such, it doesn't open wide enough for curved toenails, and simply cannot trim thick, curved nails. Takes a lot more work than it should to make it function about half the time, and gives the impression that someone put in the least amount of thought to make a device that might be truly useful if more attention was paid to its design.

I expected a better nail clipper attached to this "gadget" for the price I paid and if it had a better nail clipper I would have rated it a 5 star and said "I love it" But for now I give it a 4 and I like it even though it does the job I expected it to do. I'm an arthritis patient and I can't bend to reach my toenails to cut them like a normal person does and this gadget does the job for me, so I am satisfied. But I wish it had a better clipper for those hard to cut big toenails.

This product does not have the strength to cut my toenails, which is why I bought it. The trigger pulls the cord which closes the blade of the clippers, but there is not enough tork to cut through the nails, even very thin ones. On the other hand, it works well as a back scratcher!

Don't know what I would do without it, except get pedicures which take up too much of my time. Works well. I don't think there is a better product out there. Takes a bit of practice, but worth the effort.
