This year I finally retired the one my mum gave me which dated from her uni-days - I have high expectations this will last me 40 years but that is because I am tight-fisted and should have invested in a new line many many years ago but... what do you really need from a little bit of rope with hooks on the end to dry some socks, boxers and the odd t-shirt on once or twice a year from a hotel balcony. I can't comment on the suckers because I discarded them right away - everyone knows they never work where and when you need them. One holiday down and I was very happy with the purchase.

Broke on second use. I had one of the previous versions of this washing line that still works really well. I brought this, hoping it would be as good, to use on holiday with the family and it broke the second time we put it up. The flimsy plastic that holds the cord in place broke and won’t go back together.

Folds up into a lovely sized travel pouch.Suction cups are completely useless. Line fell down with one pair of socks and boxer shorts on it.Better to forget about the suction jobbies and just lash the line off somewhere.Did the job.

A somewhat niche product, but nicely designed and packs small. Don't think the suction caps would be any use, so just looped ends round on the clip. Nice method of holding items on the line too, very clever.

TWENTY YEARS AND STILL GOING STRONG!!! In perfect condition!I bought 2 of these clothes drying twisted ropes by Lifeventure back in 2003 for my first independent travel to Thailand. Back then, it did not have the suction cups, but to be honest, you don’t need the suction cups, and I do not believe the suction cups will be strong enough for wet laundry anyways.Over the last twenty years, we take these drying lines (the exact same ones I bought in 2003) with us on our adventure travels. With a family of 4, these ropes continue to serve their purpose perfectly! And believe me, when you have kids, these are vital travel accessories to help you handle the continuous laundry needs of a young family as well as for individual travels.I am so impressed by the quality that I just had to rave about this product. The elasticity is exactly the same as the day I bought them. Of course, I try not to abuse them (hence I have 2 ropes), but they’ve certainly taken their fair share of weight over the years.Thank you LifeVenture for this amazing product!

Great little laundry line. We used it to hang our laundry while camping and hiking and it did the trick and didn't take up much space.
