Great diaper pail! Hold tons of diapers, uses regular trash bags, holds in smells great!

Works great. Traps the smell in decently well. I have never used a Diaper Genie, so I cannot speak to how they compare. I have tried using a regular trash can and I will say that this does a better job of keeping the room from getting stinky. I just wish it held more diapers!

I haven't actually used this yet because our baby is due in a couple of weeks. The reason we bought this one was because it didn't cost a fortune and you can use regular trash bags in it if you want to. I didn't want to have to buy bags specific for a diaper pail. We just use the Glade trash bags that we use in our kitchen garbage since we take our garbage out every few days anyways. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't expect it to be so short.

I removed the bottom plastic part that holds the bag in place on the inside of the can. This part was causing the bag to become full too quickly and I kept having to open the can and push the contents down. Once removed, I absolutely love this can, and I’m a mom of 3, so I’ve had several different cans over the years. There’s a minor smell when I drop a diaper inside, but that’s the case with all diaper pails. This pail holds a ton of diapers once modified and any kitchen garbage bag works. I use the Glad scented bags. I’m glad I picked this one.

Read a million reviews to try to decide between all the options out there. This one is nice because you can use any bag. The way the closure works, you never smell anything either. WE don't change my daughter's diaper frequently in her room as she sleeps in ours so sometimes it can be a while between changings, and I haven't smelled anything (been using 2 months). Color is nice too :)

I like the mechanics of it, but don't find that it keeps the smell contained as much as I'd like. What I love is that I can use normal trash bags for it!

Very little odor escapes from this trashcan.

Great product just beware it's smaller than you would think it would be and there is still a great amount of smell that comes out when you place a used diaper into the chamber. We are getting air wick stick smells to hope that helps with the opening and closing of the lid.
