Excellent M.2 cooling and a lovely orange glow
I bought this to cool a Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 SSD, because I was getting concerned about drive temperatures. I don't have any M.2 slots and was previously using an Akasa M.2 to PCIe adapter card with no cooling. I wanted something to passively cool both sides of the SSD (not just the chips) so went for this despite the relatively high price compared to other options that basically strap a heatsink to the SSD with rubber bands. This is a really solid and well made piece of kit that exudes quality. Assembly was easy and SSD speed is the same as with my previous adapter.Cooling performance is excellent. Using the ATTO benchmark to exercise the drive, and CrystalDiskInfo to monitor the temperature, I hit the following temperatures:- No cooling: 66C after one run of ATTO- Blowing a 120mm fan at it: 45C after one run of ATTO- Using the KryoM.2 Evo: 33C after one run of ATTO, and only 39C after three consecutive runsThe only downside is the garish orange lighting, but I guess someone might like it. Fortunately it can be turned off.

Great PCIE adapter for your NVME drive
Works like a charm ... adding NVME support for slightly older boards that don't natively support NVME. Remember to check if your BIOS will support booting to it if that's what you require, otherwise it will be visible in your OS for storage. Solid construction with decent cooling !

A fantastic bit of kit
The moment you open the box and see the card you'll be impressed. It is a solid lump of black metal with a thin layer of perspex to enable the built in orange LED to shine its glow all round the edge of the card. The lettering on the unit is done in 'gold' which looks rather nice against the black of the bulk of the cardThe LED's have three settings options Constant On/Constant Off/Flash with disk access, the switch that controls this is at the bottom of the card so remember to set it correctly before installing the card.Unless you plan to use water-cooling for your M.2 adaptor this card is for you.If you are in the market to buy a PCI-E -> M.2 buy this unit don't waste your time reading any reviews for others just click buy!TLDR;Yes, buy this.

The best thing for modern NVMes
My Samsung 970 EVO's temperature dropped 10 degrees compared to keeping it on the motherboard. Furthermore, the place on the motherboard is absolutely the worst, right in between the CPU and the GPU. With this adapter, I was able to move the NVMe SSD to last PCIx slot, which is far away from CPU/GPU and, with the kryo's cooling fins, it resulted in exactly 10 degrees celsius better temperature, and thus, performance. My NVMe was both throttling and throwing CRC errors when overheating. All problems gone now. Thank you Aqua Computer!

The best option
It took me a wile before to find the best option to add an NVMe on my X79 Motherboard. This kit is very simple to install.Very good quality. No need to install any driver. (Except the one for the NVMe drive)Highly recommend and will buy one more for a second SSD.My only mistake when ordered:Make sure your motherboard support boot from NVMe if you want the OS on it.

Remove bottom heatsink for double sided M.2 nvme drives
Very good build quality, SSD detected without any problems. I installed the Sabrent Rocket 2TB drive which is double sided. With the small bottom heatsink in place you cannot secure the nvme drive in place, but once removed installation is straight forward.

Great adapter for Mac Pro 2009 > 5,1 nice 'n cool Trigger ... nice 'n cool ...!
Great adapter with decent cooling for blade drives. I fitted into my 2009 v4,1 > v5,1 Mac Pro PCIe slot with Samsung Evo 970 m.2 blade drive. Works perfectly and keeps things nice and cool. Also has orange LED which lights up inside of Mac when drive is being accessed. Easy to fit by complete novice after quick Youtube video.

Great Quality product
Much more sturdy than many cheap alternatives, worth the extra. No smarts so you need the right silicon to pair with it but got a great benchmark with this with an NVME bootable 256GB card. Lights are cool!
