Fab work out - it actually makes you smile and laugh....and it works!!
I was a bit apprehensive about this DVD because I thought Vicky might be a bit annoying - Sorry Vicky, but I watch Corrie so I know all about Janice!! :) But I read some of the amazon reviews and changed my mind, and bought it!It is fantastic!!!! Richard is just brilliant! He talks most of the way through, explaining the moves clearly and showing you from the front and the side so you can get the maximum benefit, but without taking too long that it gets boring when you know it all (like some other DVDs). The moves are simple, and the main routine has an extra move added each time round, so it stays interesting. He also makes you laugh with a few little jokes with Vicky, who looks as though she is really enjoying the workout. He also talks a lot to keep you going, saying "come on people at home, i want 4 more from you" etc, which sounds cheesy, but it really keeps you going just as your about to collapse!!It's purely combat for the warm-up and high intensity bit, which I love! With the music they have chosen, you really enjoy it, I find that when he says stop and march or bounce it out, I want to keep going and dance to the music!!!As for the toning, it hurts the next day, but I've seen a huge difference in me after just 3 weeks, i've already lost half a stone, and I'm so much fitter and tighter round the middle!!Vicky looks great and I can see why and how now!

The best ever keep fit DVD
A year after my second child was born my weight was gone up to 15st 3lb....I had enough of baggy tops and never wore jeans - I lived in tracksuit bottoms and loose trousers - size 18. 2 years ago I finally decided to do somthing about it, so I bought this DVD based on a review I read in a magazine. I can honestly tell you that I do it almost every day for 30 minutes just the warm up and burn out and it is so easy to follow and great fun....I got down to 10stone 7lb a size 10 top and a comfortable 12 jeans and I feel great. Everyone kept saying as I began to loose the weight - "you have lost loads of weight - how are you doing it" " you are looking great" and I was not shy in telling them how I did loose the weight. I notice in the few weeks over holidays etc and when I skipped doing it for a couple of weeks the weight crept back up so I had to start at it again and within a couple of weeks the weight started to drop off again. I have kept an eye on what I eat - If I treat myself to a chinese I take the chicken out of the curry sauce instead of topping it all onto my plate and eat boiled rice instead of fried...more fruit and yogurts help also and a bowl of porridge for breakfast. Give it a go - it might work for you!. I just hope she brings another one out soon...

Great workout
I love this video only been doing this for 4 weeks. Had my first weighting today lost 5lb a long with a healthy deit.(not a lot in that time) but considering I have copd, cerebral palsy, asthma, and osteoporosis of the spine I think is not bad going.so for me this is a great video for burning fat (because you will sweat) and great for toning muscles. Love the belly shrinker (it really works) so yes a definite yes from me 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Old favourite
This is my 3rd copy of Wow over 11 years (the others got scratched) because it is my favourite exercise dvd of all time. I don't do many other workouts - just the 30 Day Shred and a Pilates DVD - because I find most boring. I've tried Davina and Nell Mc etc, but - yawn. However, this is engaging, gets me sweaty, and is a really good all-round cardio and strength workout. You get out of it what you put in. I use once a week, alternating with my other dvds, or 4 or 5 times a week in the run up to a beach holiday. Until getting this DVD 11 years ago, I was an unfit couch potato, but it was easy enough to follow and get into, is not complicated, and led me to a place of fitness where I can now do Gillian Michael's 30 Day Shred - which is a harsh old workout. I'm 52, btw.I highly recommend for beginners and the very fit - every one will get something from this (mainly sweat!)

Not all that..........
I had high hopes for this dvd, but sadly feel a little let down by it. I did my research, read a lot of reviews and had high hopes; after all, when you see the before and after pictures of Vicky, one can't help but think 'Wow!'It has a promising start, Vicky is positive, looks amazing and isn't the least bit annoying with her preamble. The instructor comes across as friendly and enthusiastic. So far so good. The trouble hit I suppose with my total lack of coordination. I could cope with the jumping on the spot, could even jump from side to side, but after that, forget it! The instructions were far from clear and half the time I didn't know if I was suppose to be starting on my left or right leg and their demonstrations were unclear and the camera kept jumping around like a toddler at a tea party eating e numbers!Vicky kept assuring me that 'this will hurt tomorrow!' but all I feel the day after is an aching back, which is indicative of doing exercise badly. On the plus side, the music was ok, the instuctor was jolly and Vicky does look amazing. The workout wasn't hard and after an hour I felt like saying, 'Is that it?' I had a glow about me, but hardly broke into a sweat. My advice, stick with Davina Power of Three. Now there's a workout dvd! After Davina, it really does take me a week before I stop hurting.
