Trader Joe’s Organic Coconut Aminos Seasoning Sauce

After Coconut Secret went from a soy sauce style coconut aminos to a teriyaki style coconut aminos, I had a critical gap in my pantry. I am soy free, so my sushi and Chinese food habit was bereft of soy-like salty goodness.Fortunately, Trader Joe's has come to the rescue with their offering of coconut aminos.Frankly, this is better than the original. It is reasonably shelf stable and does not decide to froth up when shaken or dropped. The taste is also pleasingly like soy sauce, though just a touch sweeter, more like tamari. Not complaining at all, and it works especially well for sushi and sashimi.In fact, if you want to add a different dimension of flavor, add some lime juice and a little toasted sesame oil, and you create an amazing analog for ponzu.I use it for a lot of things, like adding salt to hummus and making easy dressings. Definitely give this a try.

Super disappointed with the shipment of this. Came in a giant box with those air bubbles, and then wrapped in bubble wrap and a tiny paper cup around the top.... it was like they knew it was going to leak, which it did. So gross.

We don’t have a Trader Joe’s near us and I love their coconut aminos so I’m glad I can get it here! Being gluten free, I prefer this brand of coconut aminos to other brands, and I also prefer this over other soy sauce substitutes. Not a heavy coconut flavor!

Was very unimpressed with the arrival of this product. Almost all of the product had leaked out of the bottle. Would not buy again and would not recommend to anyone else. Zero stars if possible.

This tastes great! It’s also ok on the Heal Your Headache diet if you’re a migraine sufferer missing soy sauce. Presentation was knocked because it does leak a bit on shipping.

Absolutely the best soy sauce alternative !I've tried other brands and they were too sweet . This is definitely the most comparable . Price is high but worth it 👌

Almost 4 times the price of buying at Trader Joe’s. My TJ ran out and my husband loves this as a soy sauce alternative. Quick shipping good packing.

I really like the coconut aminos but next time I will just go to TJ’s because it’s much cheaper than what I paid on amazon. Not sure why they charged as much as they did for it
