Great rear replacement sight for Ithaca 37 Turkey Slayer
The TruGlo designed for the Ithaca Deer Slayer is discontinued. While looking for a replacement rear sight for a Turkey Slayer that used TruGlo, I found and bought an exact match for a NOS Winchester 1300 slug gun. However it used red fiber optics instead of green which made seeing the front read sight quickly…impossible. While looking for an alternative, I found this with the same size dovetail. It fit perfectly and has almost the same exact sight height as well.

Great product & experience.
I was hesitant on buying this, because of all the negative reviews. I bought anyway to see for myself, & took a chance. When I went to install the sights the both went in w/no problems (I've yet to shoot to see if the front post is setting too high to sight in from a review I read). For the front post I used a flat head screw driver & put a towel over my gun so it wouldn't damage it (That's just common sense to do), & I used a small hammer tapped lightly checking frequently to make sure the front sight is going in correctly. I haven't got to shoot to sight in, & until then that one review of the person having trouble w/the front sight setting to high to adjust correctly is the last worry I have until I actually get to shoot it to see for myself. Honestly, I believe it'll be fine.. I love the upgraded fiber optic sights now on my 30-30 Marlin lever action, & it's a must if you hunt w/open sights in thick woods when light gets low!

Decent Sights
The fit(ting) and finish are decent. The optics are nice but for my old eyes, I might need something better. The sights installed without any problems. However the rear sight does sit in the dovetail at just a tiny bit of an angle. Once the sights are adjusted at the range, you will probably never notice the slight tweak, though.Update: I'm returning the sights. The bottom line is, I just can't see/focus well enough on the sights to be useful.

Must have sight upgade
Great sights from TruGlo. Installation was fairly simple with a Wheeler hammer and punch set. The front sight was very tight but did not need to be filed to fit. The rear sight went in fairly easy. Much easier to see than the stock semi buckhorn sights and the contrasted colors make it easier to pick up the front sight quickly.

Not very strong/reliable
Worked great until the front site glow material fell off.

rifle sights
This set by TRU GLOW was the first set I ever tried to install and it was easy task. It took about 30 minutes to install since I was "restoring" and updating an old Marlin 336 rifle. Looks good and with the right tools it was done to my satisfaction. It only took a few shots to sight it in at 65' with my 30-30 using my senior eyes.

Dont buy...
the front sight post takes serious modification to fit. Had to go buy a file and even then it ended up breaking cuz of poor fitment and all of the vibrations of filing and on off of trying to get the fitment right. The back sight goes on fine but once you move the screw to change placement of the sign it wiggles all over. I can move the rear sight right and left now with little effort.100% JUNK

Installed on a Rossi R92 357
Installed on a Rossi R92. The rear fit perfect. The front needed to be filed just a tiny bit. Vast improvement over the buck horn sights. The front barrel band has to be filed a tiny bit, in order to go under the sight. Or you can file the bottom of the sight. I opted for the barrel band. Update: Ran 50 rds, sights staying in place. Only needed a minor ajustment on the read. Use blue loctite for best results.
