Perfect for its purpose
Summary: I'm fussy about the quality of my painting and I like to work quickly - this tool met both needs.Details:Mine arrived with black foam but the color doesn't affect its function.I used this first to clean and then to paint the wall behind the toilet. After I loaded paint on it (using a roller according to their instructions), it took just a few seconds to apply the paint on the wall. It worked so quickly and easily that I couldn't believe it, so I spent another 45 seconds for flaws in the paint job but I found none - it was perfect.I had to spend a few minutes cleaning the paint off the tool after I was done with painting the bathroom. Before you start painting, you should fill a sink with water so you can drop the stick in the sink soon after you use it and then clean it when you're done painting.I wrapped the toilet with plastic to protect it from drips but that turned out to be unnecessary. This tool applied paint only where it was supposed to go.A pleasant surprise was their high level of customer service. When the tracking info showed "ready for pickup" at the local post office, I contacted the seller to ask why it was to be picked up and not delivered. They immediately responded that it should have been delivered and advised me to call the local post office. They even looked up the telephone number! So I called the post office and found out that they failed to deliver it after the expiration of a vacation hold. Even though the problem wasn't the seller's, they were responsive and friendly about it.

It was not easy but it helped me a lot
I was going to paint my bathroom’s walls and ordered jimmy sponge stix. After 3 weeks the item was ordered it still was not delivered and there was not any tracking information besides it was shipped. I contacted the seller and asked him to ship another one. My request was instantly satisfied and in a couple days I got my purchase. Funny part was that first one was delivered with second one on the same date. Well. It was not that easy to use it for painting behind my toilet because there was not enough space to slide the sponge stix between my toilet and the wall behind it. So I had to push it through and the paint did not cover the wall nicely. It has been smearing. This is why it took up to 3-4 times for me to reach desirable finish. Yes I do recommend this tool for painting behind the toilet however make sure you have enough room between the wall and the toilet. Excellent customer service. Thank you.

Get any where with ease
I liked that these fit behind anything! They are sturdy and longer than I expected. They are a hard to find, almost order only item and they took a little longer to get here than I would have hoped.Cleaning and loading was just manual and a little messy, that was my only draw back . Oh and you get one not three like in the pic, so kinda spendy in my opinion.

Very Easy
I ran the stick down the wall 2 times and found the hardest part was putting paint on the stick.I took my paint brush and applied a generous amount of paint on the stick. I did not paint the stick but dipped the brush, then wiped it on the stick & repeated 10-12 times until the stick was full of paint. Once it was full I ran it behind the toilet. It almost looked like it covered completely but to be safe I re-applied paint and ran the stick again behind the toilet. My wife came in and couldn't believe how well it looked.

Handy time saver
This tool performed exactly as advertised -- making short work of painting behind the toilet tank. It's a well-made item, with a thick wood backing and thick sponge, with handy holes at the ends to grab by. To get paint onto it, I just painted it on with a regular paintbrush. (The thick pad holds a lot of paint, so washing it out takes a while.) You might feel a little silly spending this much for a stick with some foam on it, but if you value your time (or the quality of your paint job), its well worth it.

It works
This did the job of getting paint behind the toilet in my bathrooms. I didn't give it 5 stars because the paint was a bit streaky if you look close, but It looks so much better than just a missing spot of paint. This washed out fairly easy and I've used it twice without any wear showing

worked!
This little tool worked. Only 4 stars because it is ridiculously expensive for what it is. If one had the patience, it could be EASILY replicated. I would check youtube for instructions on a DIY method, there should be one out there.

Seems like a great idea!!
This seems like a great way to paint behind the toilet without removing the tank. Problem for me is, it is thicker than I thought, my toilet is REALLY close to the wall.
