I purchased this product because other sata cables I used kept coming lose from the socket. These seem to attach much better than cheaper types.

Does the job, but right-angle connector was orientated wrong for my PC
A great little cable, works well with my new WD Caviar 1TB internal SATA2 drive. The right-angled connector wasn't orientated as I expected, so instead of the cable coming down from the mother board and straight into my drive, I had to take the cable past the drive, and loop it back up into the connector on the drive. This was difficult in my Dell PC as it was the bottom drive bay with very little room for looping this inflexible cable, and it was hard to get the PC side-panel on afterwards. Still, it works fine.
