Atwood Rope MFG Ready Rope™ Raw

I had a lot of extra paracord on a 1000 foot spool. So, I bought the Atwood Ready Rope Raw. I fit about 120 feet of paracord on. I like the fact it has a paracord holder on the inner part of the spool to hold the paracord while you wrap it on. It also has a second paracord holder to hold the loose end when you are done wrapping it. The insert razor blade is super sharp and cuts the paracord very easily. Lastly, you can fit a full size Bic lighter inside the paracord holder. Or, you can fit a mini Bic lighter along with a few smaller items if you wish. The cap that holds the lighter inside fits nice and tight so there is no worry it might pop off on its own. This is a quality piece of kit and very handy to have in my truck.

Lighter for sealing ends fits as described--if you use a stubby lighter you can fill the gap with firestarter or a rope pike. Very handy for tangle free storage of paracord. Should be standard issue Boy Scout gear.

Pleasantly surprised!Lightweight before cord goes on. Two cotton wool pieces in the lighter compartment will stop any movement/sound of the lighter. Once fully corded up the cord stays secure. Space for small/medium S-biner or carabiner to attach to inside or outside of rucksack., comes with razor blade in compartment.I would purchase this product again if needed.

It's handy. You'll need to attach a string or make a lanyard so you don't loose the cap. Also the cap kinda has a weak snap about it so if you're in the opening and closing the lighter compartment often it wouldn't take long and the cap won't stay secure. But I'm using mine in an emergency kit and not daily use so works for me. Overall, yeah I recommend.

Worked perfectly for my needs. I bought some niteize reflective paracord, and used this for better storage. Love that it holds a lighter for melting the ends after cutting!

This thing is great! Had some Paracord I needed organized and this rocks! With the rope cutter and lighter storage, I don't think anything else can compare at any price!

Easy to use. May need to order more.
