The pencils coloring nicely, there is a good selection of colors. Nice grip to them. There are a bit thin so great for coloring in those small spaces

I paid a little extra for these hoping they would be ok when sharpened unfortunately everyone broke when I sharpened them in my new Staedler sharpener also you have to press on to get the colour disappointing

The leads keep on breaking whenever sharpened. Poor quality for Lakeland.

I bought my sister some colouring books for adults to help her relax-very successful. She wanted something more subtle than felt tips and she feels the range of shades in the pencils is ideal. We both remember the name Lakeland with great fondness from our childhood.

Quel dommage !J'ai reçu ces crayons sans aucune protection : ils sont dans une pochette plastique très, très fragile. Et ils n'étaient même pas protégés par un papier-bulles. Résultat : la mine de la plupart des crayons se casse dès que l'on veut les tailler.Dommage, car les teintes sont belles, la pigmentation est superbe, les teintes se marient bien. Ce seraient des crayons de couleur formidables s'ils étaient protégés !!! .....Je veux bien les payer 4 fois plus chers à condition qu'ils soient présentés dans une boîte métal ( ou, à la rigueur, dans une pochette cartonnée )

The pencils were great for layering and blended well. Soft and creamy, they took adult coloring to another dimension. Do not hesitate make the purchase it is worth it.

I got these for my 2-year-old for her Christmas stocking, and they've been great. They aren't round, so they don't roll away from her as much, and the lead seems stronger/holds up much better than other pencils we have in terms of breaking after dropping on the floor multiple times (and you don't find out the lead is broken until you sharpen the pencil and the lead keeps falling out in bits). Will definitely look into this brand for other high-quality art supplies as my daughter grows.

I have a couple of Derwent sets which for excellent quality. I expected the same from these I thought they'd be similar to prismacolors verithin. I went to Sharpen the light green in my electric sharpener. In the wood split halfway down the middle and the lead. It has a bad car so half of the pencil was used up in order to fix it the rest of it. The coloring quality is pretty good I don't expect to be able to put too many layers down now it's a little scratchy and not very good blendability. They're good at shading. They're great at fitting in a small areas of adult coloring books similar to The verithins by prismacolor.If it had not been for the bad core and the bad barrel in the light green pencil five stars. This case is very substandard quality I don't expect this from the good company like Derwent. Could have been worse but also it should have been a lot better. The price isn't too bad there's just a right amount you can carry with you in a purse if you need to take your book with you to a doctor's appointment or something. Great for adult colorist too and artist alike. Thank you
