Whole New World
This introduces you to a whole new world of what the fish are thinking. It allows you to correlate the success of your fishing with the the change in barometric pressure. It seems that the fish respond to the change in barometric pressure, rather than the absolute barometric pressure. I have not found any other barometric instrument that gives you the change in the barometer from hour to hour for the last 12 hours. It's really an eye opener.

If you have models ending in an 8 you are good to go
Not the product's fault, but I do blame the manufacturer. Humminbird does not do an adequate job of advising you that any product 800 series or higher, ending in a 9 (the models that are current) are not supported. I've exchanged a dozen emails with their tech support, and even they don't have the whole story. If you have models ending in an 8 you are good to go.
