Blue tooth
The ear pc. is very comfortable but does not stay linked and or connected to my iPhone. This makes it very difficult to use on the road where I spend most of my time.

Rubber part tears easily
Great headset but unfortunately the rubber part that holds the ear piece to the rest (what goes behind the ear) is not rugged enough and will tear.

Unorthordox design but surprisingly good performance
I had trouble with the earlier version of this headset, the Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435. It lost connections frequently and sounded noisy. Since it was still under warranty I sent it in to Sony Ericsson for repair. They opted to replace it with this newer version (Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435a) instead which has worked out to my advantage. This newer manifestation has Bluetooth 2.0+EDR which seems to make all the difference in the world. No longer do I hear static like I did with the older model. Curiously, the speaker volume is not as loud as the original when first answering a call (though hardly noticeable) and I can't explain why. The one thing I really love about this unit is activating it to take a call. Instead of pressing a button inward like so many headsets which can be uncomfortable, on this one you place your thumb underneath the "barrel" and your index finger on the top of the same "barrel" and simply press down; no discomfort. So what if you look like a member of the Borg wearing it! I just want a headset that doesn't compete with my glasses and this does the trick. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.Update 7/26/09 - This behavior started about three months ago. I don't know if your experience would be different from mine but now I can't turn off my headset with the power button. I have to let it completely drain until it's 100% out of power. It seems to lose connection more easily too. Granted, I work in a industrial environment and probably turned it on and off too many time a day in the time since I've owned it. Everything has a wear factor and maybe I prematurely ended its lifespan. This unit is probably best only turned off once a day, if that. I was trying to extend time between charges and it may have backfired on me.Update 9/5/09 - I let this headset completely drain of battery power and left it alone for a month. I'm happy to say that its working as if it never had a problem.Update 10/1/09 - My headset has come to the end of it's life. The rubber part that bridges the two solid elements of the headset has come apart from the earpiece. Like Humpty Dumpty, it couldn't be put back together again. After all we've been through together, its like waking up to find your dog dying on your front porch. There's nothing you can do about it except cry.

Compatability Question
Looks like a great product and I'm itching to get one but no one here has touched on whether or not it's compatible with any phones other than Sony/Ericksons. I have a Blackberry Curve. Anybody know what this things compatabilities are?
