This is REAL leaf tea. I bought a different brand in the past and oh boy did I regret it. Was all stems no leaves. This brand is all leaves. Tastes great and works really good for when any one feels congested. This is my go too. And I'll never buy a different brand ever again.

The tea itself deserves a 5 star. Tastes very good. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is because the tea comes in little nylon bags. I was so disappointed, as nylon is not recyclable. I normally just put used tea bags in my compost pile. These will no biodegrade. I have been emptying all the bags out and putting the tea into a tea ball before I pour hot water in the cup. I probably will not buy them again because of the nylon bags.

It's Mullien. Same stuff used for Mucinex. Can be bitter to some tastes. If that is the case, you can add drop or two of honey. I've had this bag for several months and it is still fresh.

No strong flavor at all. Very neutral. Earthy. Works well. Trying to quit smoking slowly. This is helping to clear my lungs. Brings up alot of phlegm.

I could not give a five-star rating as I share the other customer's concerns about the steeping time and the material used for the bag. I do not know if it is plastic-based, but it is definitely different. The tea itself seems good. I have ordered a tea diffuser to see if that makes a difference.
