Fantastic book!
Bought this for my sister as a gift and she loves it. The photographs are beautiful and the recipes are delish! She loves baking so I was worried she would already know most of them however I was wrong. There’s lots of really interesting ones which she wasn’t even aware off. Some old traditional ones with a modern twist! Definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys baking, regardless of experience.

Hebridean Baker Bliss
I heard Coinneach recently on Radio 4’s Saturday Live & was already vaguely aware of him - so Googled his name to bring up the books. I have visited the Western Isles each spring/summer for the last 12 years. The islands are stunning and the people amazing. I love that his books give both the recipes and some of the stories behind them. They also spotlight some of the locals and give interesting snippets of island history. As a keen photographer myself I also enjoyed the lovely photos interspersed throughout the book. There is a really good mix of recipes. The book will be going with me soon on a self catering mini break where I will use several of his recipes - not least to celebrate Burns Night.

Yes, you will be whisked away!
I have the other books so was looking forward to receiving this one. Just couldn't put it down. It gives the reader a great feel of what life is like in the Hebrides. The recipes are achievable, but different and interesting. Can't wait to get started. It's a "grounding" book which makes you realise what the important things in life are. Love, love , love it! Have made the Hebridean Hygge Cake so far. It was straightforward to make from the clear instructions, looked good and tasted delicious.

Homely recipes
I've only just discovered Hebridean Baker, and I'm so glad I did. Recipes are easy to follow with no weird unattainable ingredients. I first tried the Hygge Cake, that went down a storm. Looking forward to trying many more.

The BEST Scottish cookbook
I LOVED this cookbook, Coinneach takes us on a culinary journey through the Hebrides, but it is more than a book of recipes, it is filled with heartwarming stories, stunning photography and a sense of place. Already baking my way through it and every recipe is turning out perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Stunning photos, great stories and the best introduction to Scottish home cooking
I have all 3 books and I should buy 3 more to store so when these are too battered and stained I can carry on.
