Very Nice Ukulele - Good sound
Beautiful quality (sound and construction). Beautiful wood tone. Very nice sound. We purchased as package with case and tuner - a plus. The case protects well.Bought for a ukulele beginner that had guitar experience.

Amazon and Sam Ash only fair
The Uke was nice. Did not receive the bundle. Amazon sent in the wrong item number. Sam Ash does not sell the bundle anymore and do not carry the extra items in the bundle. The price for the bundle and just the uke were the same. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

Poorly built. Neck broke off after two months of light use by my 14 year old daughter.
Poorly built. Neck broke off after two months of light use by my 14 year old daughter. See attached photo.The laminate separated. Also, the bridge seems low. Compared to the bridge on the Luna uke we replaced this with, the strings are really close to the neck, Harder strumming caused the strings to vibrate against the frets. There's at least a 1/16" difference in distance from the frets on the Luna and Lanikai ukes.I would not recommend this ukulele.

Wish I hadn't gotten the longer one. I went from guitar to uke, so I thought I would lik the longer neck, I'm a girl and longer length is really for bigger men probably. But otherwise she's Pretty!! And I do like her

Great deal.
Went to a music store and tested several instruments there. We decided to get this model, but wanted to check Amazon first for pricing. Music store wanted $120 for the ukulele alone plus tax. This cost $99 which also included a case. We were thrilled with the sturdiness of the case. It's not just a gig bag but a hard case. The ukulele sounds great. She had to play with it a little while for the strings to keep tuned, but after the strings were broken in, they no longer slipped out of tune. I hear this is common. I don't know a ton of ukuleles but this seems to be a nice beginner one from our research online and in the stores.

I saw some reviews here saying that it didn't come with the case etc. Mine came with everything pictured. Great uke & great combo price.
