This product is absolutely brilliant. My baby is so affectionate with it - and she has never had a favourite toy before, but she’s obsessed with cuddling it. It is made from very soft fabric, it does retain a comforting scent for the baby. I have used other sound machines before, but this one mimics a sleeping person the best. Overall, it is the next-best-thing to lying beside your baby as they sleep. It has significantly improved her sleep. She wakes up less and is easier to soothe back to sleep when she does. She is one year old but I wish I’d purchased this earlier.Some reviewers are complaining that this doll is a risk for SIDS - but that’s not true. There is a strap which the manufacturer recommends you use to attach the doll to the crib before the baby turns one.

Bought this for my 7 month old who was waking up 4 to 5 times a night to nurse. The first night she slept for a 6 hour stretch with it and is since sleeping through the night (it took about 2 weeks to really work for her). I can't praise this doll enough!!! I am a new woman now that I'm finally sleeping! I've heard it doesn't work for every baby though, we were one of the lucky ones.

This works!! I bought this for my daughter who is 5 years old and has never wanted a toy or blanket to sleep with and has struggled to go to sleep and sleep through the night since she was born. I was desperate I stumbled across these dolls on a frantic internet search and I am so glad. She bows sleeps through the night 90% of the time and goes to sleep so much better than ever before. Thank you!

Happy at first with how the product arrived in its little pouch and looked very good. First thing to note is that it's quite loud, and there is no volume control, sometimes even startled my little one rather than sooth her. However, most disappointingly is that it stopped functioning after about a month. Changed the batteries but didn't work, the sound box just stopped working and have no idea why. Currently my little girl uses it as a doll, but it's a pretty expensive doll!!

Like many sleep deprived parents I bought this in the desperate hope that it would be the ultimate solution to my baby's night wakings. Whilst it has not done that I do still think it is a great item. Firstly, I have come to accept the fact that my son will not sleep for 12 hours straight right now and nor should he! It is biologically normally for him to wake at his age. The doll has made no real difference to that but I do think it is great to incorporate into a bedtime routine. When I put my son to bed I will make a point of asking 'where's dolly?'. I will then switch her on and her relaxing breathing and heartbeat will begin. This is both a great visual and aural cue to let him know it is bedtime. The heartbeat and breathing itself is very relaxing and I do think it helps him to drift off (I've found myself nodding off listening to it a few times!). As he gets older I feel it will be good to make a point of putting Dolly to sleep and explain that when Dolly sleeps it is time for my son to sleep too. That's the plan anyway! It is a lovely doll - nice soft, snuggly material that will hold your scent well if you keep it on your person for a while so it can also trigger relaxation and comfort through smell. A lovely peaceful face and classic 'sleeping baby' pose, it is cute to see the 2 of them lying side by side in the bed :) Only dropped a star because it hasn't worked miracles for us but still a lovely item.

So far, our 12 mo old loves this 'Baaaaabeeee". The heartbeat and breathing is far more realistic than any noise machine I have heard. Our daughter settles better with this doll, as long as she is not at the moment in a full blown tantrum. She has never done that before. I think it is helping out sleep training move from co-sleeping into her own bed. Personally, I am happy we can finally turn off that white noise machine. But it is only day 2. The novelty may wear off, and this thing seems to not work after a while for people. Manufacturer says 6 month warranty.That said, I would not leave this in a crib with a baby under 12 months. It is not recommended to leave any stuffed animals in a crib in the first year. A baby cannot breath through this doll and so I would consider it a risk for SIDs. There is NO mention of this on the label and in fact it suggests it helps prevent SIDs by its emulation of real human contact (which perhaps has a preventative quality, but obviously this toy has not been tested to have the same effect!). That is dangerously misleading. It is advertised to be used from birth.

Brilliant addition to the family!This was a god send when moving our little one into her own room 3 months ago. She has since been a great wee sleeper, only up once or twice a night - used to be every couple of hours!!Much better than other sleep aids as noise lasts for 8hours and definitely helps little one stay asleep.Make sure you invest in good batteries cos cheap ones don't last long.We've always plenty AAA batteries in now!
