Colman's Coq au Vin Sauce Mix (36g) - Pack of 6

It tastes good

The actual sauce mix is tasty and really makes the coq au vin. It makes a rich sauce, and makes the meal. It is the one dish we can rely upon when receiving guests - every one clears their plate. To complement this we use baby potatoes and with a corer (used for coring apples) we take a chunk out of the potato and fill it with garlic butter, and roast those to go with the meal.One reviewer stated that it is no longer produced by Coleman's and that Amazon have the only stocks. This is not true on both counts. It is still on the Coleman's website, and it is sold via various merchants - in this entry by Healthy Living For You. You can also find it on eBay.Prices vary from trader to trader so do check all the entries on Amazon. I bought my last 6 packets from Healthy Living - who provided a good service, but I now use a more economic competitor since their price rise.

Received 6 items-as listed-but every one has a use by date of 07/22 which means I have just over a month before they are out of date. Other similar items I have purchased from a local supermarket have at least a 2 year use by date. To sell these at full price is downright cheeky. Have contacted cs to arrange a return/refund.

This is a great product but why did I only get 4 sachets when this was advertised as 6 sachets?

It's great a lovely lovely mix of herbs etc
