For Eternity: Restoring the Priesthood and Our Spiritual Fatherhood

For Eternity is another beautiful book by Cardinal Sarah through which he shows his love and devotion to the priests and seminarians of the Church. Each chapter has an introduction, an excerpt of writings by saints, theologians, or Popes, and a meditation by Cardinal Sarah. His meditations are emanations of his intense spiritual life, and one cannot read them without gaining a better understanding, respect, and appreciation for the goodness and importance of the priesthood that God has given the Church. I hope many priests and seminarians will read this book and be encouraged in their vocation and strive imitate Christ’s example of sacrificing himself for the Church.

God Bless Cardinal Sarah!! This excellent book by a Intellectual Scholar is exactly what needs to be required reading for the Clergy from the Pope down to the Deacons. Every Catholic should also read and educate themself with the complex life of a Priest. Thank You Cardinal Sarah for putting in print what needs to be said in these very disturbing times. A Must read for those of us left in the pews on Sundays.
