Dreams & Drapes Malton-Easy Care Duvet Cover Set, Polycotton, Blue, Super-King

This is a very pretty divet set that looks right in my French Shabby Chic style guest room. My one quibble is that the reverse of the duvet is the same print as the front, not striped as in the pictures (or on the back of the pillowcases). A minor point, but as I turn the top edge of my duvet down, it would have made a nice contrast, and picked up the stripes on the back of the pillows.

THEY WERE OK DIDN'T LIKE THE MATERIAL

I bought this in 2018, I came back to buy another set because these years later it is the only one me and my husband really want to use because of its comfort, over and above some more expensive branded options we have, so its time we had more instead of rushing it through the wash every week.It is the perfect fit, weight and thickness which is important to us as we only use a 4 tog quilt, so the fit has to be good or the quilt can move around inside cover and we like just enough thickness to give you the weight without the heat. The pillowcases fit lovely but we have protectors on too which I suspect improves the fit.It is so lovely and soft (I'm sure it was a little harder when first bought), it has stood up to nearly 4 years of almost exclusive use with weekly washing, usually at 30° but a regular 60° too as I give all linens a hot wash once in a while.No popped seams, no missing poppers, the white is as you would expect given its use a bit dulled now, but it is still beautiful and so comfortable.I'd recommend all day long!

These curtains were bought for a spare bedroom to match grey walls and they do that. They are quite lightweight but represent good value for money. It is a shame only one size is available. Unfortunately there was a small hole in one curtain discovered when we put in curtain hooks to hang them. We did not think it worthwhile to go through a return/replacement procedure - having drawn them up and wanting them in place. It seems impossible to bring the fact to Amazon's attention, however.Beware of description which states there is a coordinating stripe on the reverse. There is not. This would not be seen anyway as they are lined. The description presumably refers to the matching duvet cover. The packaging suggest they are thermal lined. This, of course, is an ambiguous description and the lining appears to be standard poly/cotton.

The curtains were described black out The curtain are just ordinary cotton lined curtains and deinatetly not blackout. I have previously bought grey malton curtains and they also have cotton lining which is not white lining making the curtains looking wishy-washy compared to the bedding bavkground which is white .

Can't remember when I bought this, a while ago I think, but I still love it. Fabric is soft and after many, many washes has not faded in the least. It's my favourite cover to put on my bed.

When I looked at the bedding it wasWhat I wanted for my bedroom,Only when it came it was not what I expected.But it was reversible and I actuallyPreferred that than what I ordered.So I was really happy with my purchase of beautiful roses on the reversible side, so all was not lost on the financial side.I would recommend this quilt cover but look at both sides that represent you.
