Is this to just seal the chiminea or will it colour it. A friend has given me hers but its in need of painting. It's terracotta.

So this sealant is just applied over the outside of my already painted clay chimenea. Does this dry matt?

Do you use it on both inside and outside?

If my chiminea is bare clay should i apply this and then paint over it or vice versa?
