Bolgers FFFF grade Pumice is ultra fine Pumice powder, it is traditionally used to gently smooth over a fresh coat of shellac, this is to even out any high spots or to repair any surface flaws in the shellac finish. Also used as a hardwood pore filler on bare wood prior to French polishing. This grade FFFF white pumice is made from pure siliceous rock which becomes transparent when mixed with shellac.
