I bought these for my grandson who turned four, but he wasn’t able to use them, as well as the bigger kids.You need to throw them up in the air or swing them around with your arm and then throw them up in the air but for the little ones they were too long, unfortunately. My grandson is a typical four-year-old in height. I hope this helps!!!Although I have to see the bigger kids and the dads and moms had a blast with them!!!

Great product for gift bags or just for fun. Truthfully, these parachutes are fun for both adults and children. They are a very nice size, and they come in different colors (6 parachutes per bag, all different colors). I think that this is a great value for such a low price. I would definitely buy these again.

These are super cute and a great price. For the best flight, you’ll want to drop them from a decent height, like the top of a jungle gym. If you just toss them up from the ground, they might just fall straight down before the parachute opens.

I was pleasantly surprised by the performance and durability of these toys. Much better than the plastic ones I had when I was a kid.

doing a galaxy theme party and these will be a blast. parachute toys; satin sewn parachute opens 17 inches, with black netting, all serger sewn together with a black ribbon to the toy. much better and more durable than the old style army parachuters with ratty plastic and tangled strings. good idea to enlist dad in throwing game, while kid plays catch. Or launch from play structure.simple instructions in ad, but nothing in package. so i printed ad instructions to help.

Haven't "field tested" these yet as we plan on using them as party favors later this month (5 year old grandson's birthday), so don't know how well they work. But they have durable-looking fabric material and part of the fun for kids is to try different ways to make them work when thrown up to "parachute down." They also could be dropped from the top of a jungle gym or from a tree limb (do kids still climb trees?), or even launched from a toy sling shot (with parental permission and guidance, of course).
