These traps work and are keeping my moth problem under control. Vallue for money, too.

Hello, I have been using the moth traps for a while and am quite happy with the quality. They have now become pricier, but that is understandable taking into account the current circumstances of import. Otherwise very good quality. It would be 5 stars if the price was the previous one!

It does attract an odd moth which is its main purpose; in order that you can monitor and then fumigate the moth situation, BUT a massive plus for me is that they act as a spider trap for big spiders !!! - marvellous. As a sad person who is afraid of spiders, I am more impressed with this unknown feature than monitoring for moths. I don't know if its the scent that attracts the spider or the fact that the cardboard triangle looks like a house to spiders but basically they seem to crawl in and get their 8 legs stuck fast - the spider then can't make a quick getaway and I get rid of it out of my house - fabulous!

Having seen the odd moth around for a few months we suspected a problem, which I discovered a couple of weeks ago in a basket I have for my hats, gloves and scarf's. It seems that over summer moths have been happily breeding in my winter woolies and the larvae wrecking havoc. My husband and I went through the basket, discarding lots of ruined items. I then washed everything else (even risked it with the woollens) before freezing for 72hrs and dousing the basket in bleach.I then bought these traps along with the rentokill strips and some cedar balls. We hadn't seen any moths for a couple of days but within minutes of opening the pack two appeared fluttering around them - I was impressed! I put them out around the house and within 12hrs the traps had caught 4 moths between them. They then didn't catch any more until a week later, when 2 more were caught. I am also trying to find an effective method of killing the larvae and eggs (as a combination of washing then freezing, adding cedar balls and the strips have reduced but not eliminated the problem), but these seem really good at catching the adult males which should prevent breeding and hopefully help break the cycle.

I put these out and they trapped lots of moths immediately. I'm not sure they last the three months that they are supposed to, because I've noticed it gets to a point where there are no new moths on it, but if you buy new ones you start catching them again. So I think they are effective for about two months, which is still pretty good.

I have been using these traps for over a year and from my experience, each one can catch over 100 moths. Depending on where they are placed, some of them have caught so many moths that I can't even see the base anymore, it is totally covered - I wish I could add a photo! From my experience, they are best placed on the floor in a dark corner where you see moths most often. I have just bought another pack of 7 and have been giving some to friends! I live in an attic flat and moths seem to love it and I don't know what I would have done without these traps as nothing else helped (although I couldn't bring myself to try the moth balls, the smell made me feel physically sick!).

Very tricky to write an honest review here. I’ve been re-purchasing this product for a few years now and using it with great success. However in this last batch I ordered, the traps show minimal if any catch rate and my clothes moth population is multiplying! I have also used similar pheromone products in the past and this company has always beaten the competition. I noticed a different design on the packaging and wondered too if they have changed their suppliers of pheromones or producer. No longer the 100% catch rate I’ve experienced in the past- I’m killing more by swatting the pests on the walls than are caught in traps. Please bring back the old product.
