The Puppet Company - Marionette Characters - Jester Marionette

I bought three of these puppets for my kids. I was sceptical because I had Pelham puppets as a child, and because these seemed cheap. I can not recommend these puppets highly enough, they are beautiful!!! The lovely boxes were lovingly wrapped in bubble wrap when posted to me, so the boxes are immaculate, and as they are a Christmas gift I’m so thrilled. I’m about to go on line and buy another six to keep in the cupboard as birthday gifts for my kids school friends. I never know what to buy that is unusual and interesting, good quality, a bit different, for when they get invited to birthday parties, and these are perfect!!!

Bought it for my nephews birthday.Arrived in good time. I thought it might be a good alternative to video games.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter- as soon as it arrived I knew she would love it, I cant wait to see her face Christmas morning.

I thought this cute little chap would make a great addition to my rather large collection of marionettes and other puppets. In reality it is a hideous object. It has a strangely recessed nose and a grotesque mouth. It comes very nicely boxed and it took some time to get it out of the box and untangle the strings. It was only then that I fully appreciated just how awful it is. It also has poor movement. The only thing I can say in its favour is that it is very well made. I have tucked the jester away in the loft out of sight for the rest of his days.
