- About the product : A2B’s Hand murukku is an Indian dish made with rice and urad dal flour which is taken as a crispy anytime snack. Mullu” means “thorn” in English. This murukku got its name because of the star plate that we use to squeeze out the dough into the oil. Andhra spicy murukku is red in color and it shows spiciness. It is a little spicy version and is also called ring murukku. A2B’s Ellu Murukku is typically made from Ellu (Sesame Seeds).
- Ingredients and uses : The recipe for hand murukku which is known as kai murukku is made with finely ground rice and urad dal, ghee, and sunflower oil. While the Murukku Recipe primarily has base ingredients like rice flour and urad dal flour, the chakli will have gram flour (besan) in place. A2B’s Andhra Murukku or Ring Murukku is a very tasty, popular, and addictive South Indian deep-fried snack made with rice flour and spices like red chilly. Best tea-time snack.
- How to cook : Take some finely ground flour and urad dal. Add salt as required and add some water to make it medium dough. Now make the texture and shape with your hand. Now add the shaped dough to the heated oil in the pan. Let it be fried until it has been cooked well and the bubbles got settled. Now take out the murukku and serve. We can store it for more days in a dry place by covering it with a lid.
