Hoover DXH9A2DE 9kg Load Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Class A++ White [Energy Class A++]

The machine is all singing and all dancing on the product description have the the facility to to be programmed from an app (Hoover Wizard) on all smart phones, I use the apple smart phone and while the app was down loaded in the normal way. When I came to use it I cannot get passed the screen requesting the machine serial number. When the serial number is entered the app revert back to the home page.I have tried to contact Hoover on the number provided on the web page but the number is not good, I have mailed them on Monday 01/09/20 to which I received an automated response with a case number.I have not heard back to date from them.I have a tumble dryer that I cannot make the most of

Overall the drier is neat and quieter than my previous Condenser drier. However it seems to take longer to dry and has an annoying problem of wrapping everything into a ball so that the clothes inside the ball do not get fully dried. The other issue is the on off switch which does not have a positive on/ off feel and therefore appears temperamental.At the price paid it is good value for money for a heat pump drier and as I cannot compare it to the more expensive driers I feel the above may be too harsh..

From day one we have regretted this purchase - incredibly noisy (sounds like there are boulders inside the drum!), and doesn’t even perform its core function of drying. Frequently have to re-run loads because the laundry has not dried - dread to think what our energy costs are with having to run the machine for hours on end just to get the laundry cupboard-dry. Have tried different programmes and settings (far too complicated) but none seem to work.

The performance of the product is completely unacceptable. In comparison to the old tumble dryer this one takes three times as long. That is ridiculous.It come with a completely useless app that requires NFC on your mobile. It scores 2.2 in the app store. That is because it doesn't work either.Over an hour to get through to coustomer service that gave me another number that takes you back to the same customer service desk.A total waste of time and money.The seller hadn't contacted me in the given period so feeling really frustrated.

I find it frustrating that it takes so long for things to dry in this tumble dryer. As someone else said the clothes go into a ball and don’t dry properly even 2 hours later. I would rather have a more expensive to run tumble dryer that actually does the job and quickly! I feel that it was a big mistake being taken in by the heat pump cost !
