Outstanding cable
I installed the cable between my streamer and my dack, turned everything on, chose an album that I knew well and couldn't believe my ears. Awful! Muddled sound, etc. What have I done spending this much on a cable! I let the music play on and after about 3 songs, everything started to change. It was much better. After 5 songs, the cable started to sing! It is now a few days later and I can not believe the quality of the sound. Clear with wide, high and deep soundstage and deep and powerful bass. Just amazing! My previous cable wasn't cheap, £75, and no slouch but the Coffee is in another league. Worth every £.

Yes, it is worth it.
There are those who will tell you it is nonsense. Digital is digital. All I can say is that it really does sound a LOT better than a cheap USB cable. It has rendered my streaming pretty much up to vinyl level - for just sounding right. But, why not just try it. The price is actually quite good on Amazon and you can always return it if you think it is just a figment of the imagination...

Expensive but excellent....
Excellent cable. Expensive but if you have a good system, you need a decent cable. I’ve read that some people find it a bit too bright. I disagree. I find it very clear and crisp, but not bright or harsh at all.

A very revealing USB cable
I had read good things about this cable but was a bit apprehensive about getting it as many people believe that USB cables just pass 1's and zeros so can't make a difference. All I would say is try this cable and make up your own mind. I was very surprised about how audible the differences between this and my other cheaper USB cable are. However, I dohave a highly resolving system and the differences may not be so obvious with lesser equipment. I would not use this cable if you have a system that is a bit dry or thin sounding or erring towards brightness. It is best suited to a setup that is warm to neutral as it does lift veils on the recording. In my system, the difference between the coffee and my existing Vertere D-fi cable very easy to hear. The D-fi is slightly warmer, softer in the bass and more diffuse. By comparison the Coffee is very lively and dynamic, tighter in the bass, throws a bigger soundstage and the images are more focussed within the soundstage. Also the backgrounds are blacker and the treble more detailed. As a result, I enjoy the Coffee when I am in the mood for a more detailed, exciting sound but my D-fi is an easier listen, gentler and more soothing for late night listening. So I am finding myself swapping out the cables according to mood. I don't think I would bother doing that if all USB cables sound the same !

A very substantial improvement
Owning several of the Audioquest Carbon cables (and being very happy with them) I have been curious yet sceptical about what the addition of the DBS used in Audioquest’s costlier cables could improve upon in terms of performance. All I can say is I should have made the change a long time ago as the difference is substantial and clearly evident as soon as the cable is plugged in and the first piece of music starts playing. Rarely does my jaw drop so much when a really good upgrade happens as it did after installing the Coffee USB between my MacBook Pro and my DAC. Now I’m wondering what the Diamond might be capable of…

Great cable. Worked for me.
Great cable. May not suit brighter systems.

Welcome step up from the AQ Carbon cable
Over time I upgraded from AQ Cinammon to Carbon and now to Coffee. Each upgrade noticeably improved dynamics, soundstage, low end and high end clarity. I did wonder whether the Carbon was the best compromise in terms of price for my mid-fi system based around an Innuos Zen Mark 3 server feeding a Mytek Liberty DAC. Nearly £300 for a USB audio cable does seem quite a lot, although there are much more expensive ones around too. My research, scouring reviews, suggested that folks who upgraded from AQ Carbon to Coffee were very rarely disappointed, so I took the plunge. And I am very happy I did - it is suggested this cable needs as much as 100 hours burn in, but right from day 1 I could hear a noticeable uplift in soundstage and clarity and as I approach 50 hours it is getting better and better. If you have a high end streamer and a good DAC I recommend this USB cable wholeheartedly - it sounds incredible.

It Did A Thing
I like the build quality. With it's sale price it offers amazing value for the money. It looks and performs excellent. I was going in skeptical that upgrading a digital cable that consist of just ones and zeros would do anything. Well all I can say is in a blind AB test it did indeed improve the sound quality! It was almost as if a fog was lifted. I heard more open space and transparency. Everything seemed faster, smoother and accurate. It lowered the noise floor so I am able to here deeper in the mix and even more nuances. I have no idea what or how it's doing it. But it's doing it. I say if you have the money just go for it. After you have upgraded more important cables first. This is like the icing on the cake. I'm a believer!

¡Excelente!

Cavo super - coffee USB A-B
