Gorilla GDS-4 4ft Disco DJ Stand Booth inc Scrim Cloth Kit & Shelf

Got the stand today in the post today. First off once assembled its very sturdy. It has plenty of room for my controller and laptop. The lights attached on the top bar very easily. The shelf is essential . Only small gripe was the lack of instructions but we found a YouTube video from Gorilla and once we viewed that its was up in half an hour. I an very pleased with this booth and would recommended this to any mobile DJ's starting out.

I would rate this 3.5 out of 5.As a package this is not bad, by having the extra front supports to fix the scrim to all feels fairly secure. If I'm honest compared with our old disco stand which was a Kam skeleton stand, this doesn't feel as well built, overall tubing is 20mm diameter (old one was 25mm & 30mm) so it does feel a tad light. One the plus side it's not as heavy to carry.Locking screws are cheap and don't look great, I replaced some with the ones from our old stand.I'm not convinced the rest will stand the test of time.The horizontal supports lock from the sides, our old one had giant wind nuts on the inside, which is much better.Shelf is good but doesn't lock in to the frame so could slide out dropping your expensive gear. Easy fix if you do it yourself.As value for money however, all in all fair and you do get quite a lot for the money I guess, but professional disco stand? Not convinced here......there are better on the market I'm sure but little reviews out there.

The stand as a whole is great, makes any DJ set up look professional. Relatively easy to set up by following an online video as it did not come with any instructions, but that probably was a lot easier than paper instructions anyway, takes 5-10 mins max to set up and less to take down. When it arrived one metal bar was damaged so I called the company and sent photos of the bar, they shipped me a new one out the next day. Fantastic, speedy and most importantly courteous service. I gave the 4 stars rather than 5 just because the shelf is slightly loose on top, personally would have preferred it a couple of inches longer so it was snug, and because of the lack of instructions. Would definitely recommend to any Mobile DJ looking to purchase a simple yet professional stand.

I bought this to have a bespoke mobile DJ stand and to suspend my overhead DSLR camera to the T Bar. The table itself is well made and so simple to put up when you watch Gorillas youtube video. It takes roughly 10 minutes to assemble or disassemble. A note to anyone who is looking to film overhead with this stand. It wobbles so slightly, that will never affect your DJing, but makes footage shakey. I probably need to apply some more weight to the T Bar.

I’m a new dj so wasn’t looking for anything fancy Great setup easy to build up and pull down for transportation plenty of space for lights very happy
