It's what it says it is: 8 colored pencils
To those complaining that 1. You can get these colors in other packs and, more importantly, 2. That you can't make realistic skin tones with these pencils, there's a reason this product was made:You can BLEND/LAYER colors.Just put down a semi light layer of one color, then another layer of another and keep going until you get the shade you need. This means that yellow and red are important skin tone colors as a lot of people have at least some of one or the other in their natural complexion. I have brown skin and I could use the red and yellow in a self portrait. If this had a white, you could lighten other colors to get a wider range. But, to be fair, a lot of kids wouldn't think to use the white crayon, pencil, etc. on white paper. I know I didn't start using white til after I was an adult.

All around the world..amazing product!
My daughter is a visually impaired but is an amazing artist. She primarily uses colored pencils but has always struggled with fact that if there was a color in the packs you buy at stores it was almost always a peachy color. She felt at 11 yrs old it was doing other races injustice using just black and brown for other skin colors. She frequently draws her family and her oldest sister is of a mixed race therefore she was disheartened by the lack of other colors to represent her and the other people she would draw that weren't "peach". When I searched for a pencil for skin colors there were many surprisingly unexpected that came up,your product caught my eye for many reasons ,the price, the fact that there was only skin pigmented colors and the packaging.I really think that was the thing that brought me back after looking around. The packaging gives a mental message of it's own,a positive one.Thank you,she loves them.

Good buy & vendor
Fyi it comes with black red and brown colors aka you can get that in standard pack. It just contains a few added colors for skin shading...research to find best packet (size) for you.

~ Fun to have these different skin-tone colors, Grand Kids Love Them ~
It's fun to use this set of skin tone pencils. There are a couple that are a bit extreme, but some are right on. The grand kids have been enjoying them and so have I, as we color together every now and then. Nice set. Would go perfect with a coloring theme gift, along with a standard set.

More important now than ever.
Being able to see themselves represented in their artwork is an important self-esteem builder for kids. The usual 12-color bright pack is always on the list for school supplies. I include these too. It’s good for kids (and adults) to have options that go beyond pink and one shade of brown. Also look for the crayon pack with even more tones. Send them to school every year.

but we've enjoyed simply having these 8 colors together in a set
I've read several reviews that state these colors are included in the larger Crayola sets - I can't confirm that, but we've enjoyed simply having these 8 colors together in a set. My daughter is very fascinated by cultures and skin tones and these have been perfect for her to color and design with. I would definitely recommend!
