Can mice chew through stopgap?

How do i know whether white or brown is best? What different effects do they produce? Do yoh have comparison photos?

White floorboards.Could this be used as a base to lay white caulk or mastic over, to colour match and stop the excluder popping up?

Hi, the pic of the product shows that this particular item is brown - but the description in the table above says it is white. Could you confirm?
