BenQEX3200R 32 Inch FHD 144 Hz Curved Gaming Monitor, 1800R, Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, HDMI, Display Port - Grey

This is an amazing monitor which my son and myself have been using for just over a month now. I was a little sceptical about the size of it for use as a domestic monitor, but quickly became a conveyer after I connected an Amazon Firestick to it and saw its capabilities as a HDTV.Build and set up was straight forward and took around 20 minutes. I installed in my sons bedroom so we could initially test as a pc / gaming monitor. The monitor comes supplied with an array of connection cables and my son connected his gaming pc to it straight away. I was immediately 'wowed' by the stunning resolution of the screen. The picture had amazing clarity. I'm no gamer, and I'm not in to refresh rates, but my son is, and he said it was by far the best monitor he had used. We then tested it with both a Firestick and from my MacBook, playing 4k videos from YouTube - and again I was stunned at the clarity of the picture. There are a set of menu buttons under the right hand side of the bottom edge of the screen which allow you to fine tune the picture to your personal preference. I had to connect an external speaker to the monitor when using it as a tv as it has no inbuilt speaker. Personally, I wouldn't use it for usual 'office' tasks (emails, preparing letters, etc), as I feel the screen is far too big, but for Power Point and video editing needs it will come in to its own. The angle of view can only be adjusted up or down, to adjust left or right you will need to move the whole assembly.All in all, an awesome monitor that delivers a stunningly good picture.

This is a good quality monitor for the money, with high framerate and full HD display. Image quality was decent but not as good as highed end monitors.

For this kind of price, this monitor surprised me in many ways. its a massive step up from the 60hz tv I was using! The colours are spot on for what i want them to be. Just a few niggles:1. The monitor is very fragile (i had to buy a second one because the screen broke while moving it.)2. The menus system is a bit hard to get use to, but then again i'm used to a remove so that was a bit of adjustment.3. The stand moves a bit too much when you are tying causing your screen to move .But at the end of the day, its a good quality monitor from a reputable brand at a great price.

I was highly exciting this monitor as my new driver for my Nintendo Switch and Amazon Fire TV. Normal TVs nowadays have terrible input lag and also come with lots of bloatware which make them slow, so I opted for a monitor.The monitor comes superbly packaged and has a bunch of accessories: HDMI cable, Displayport Cable, Power Cord EU, and UK.So initially I was very pleased with this stunning monitor. All set up I turned it on to play a Bluray file and the disappointment manifested. First thing I noted was massive backlight bleed as shown in the picture. I was considering to give it a chance since one will only see that during very dark scenes but then the more annoying fault came. The panel I got has 4 dead pixels! This is what I call very bad quality control and I am surely not paying 350 quid for that!Apart from that, I enjoyed the monitor for a brief time. Movies looked great and Audio pass through to my 2.1 system worked excellently!If you can live with backlight bleed and are more lucky with the panel feel free to purchase one. I however am not tempted to play panel lottery.

This is the sharpest screen I have seen, I have used it as a bluray screen through HDMI and it keeps up with motion excellently. It has no speakers so you need an external system but as It is built primarily as a PC monitor I can't deduct a star!The curved screen give a new experience of watching things, I prefer this to 3D and it's the first time I have used one. I will definitely now consider the main TV for a curve screen on the next upgrade. It will stick out a little more as it obviously has a larger footprint three dimensionally. It has the holes for mounting on the wall which are vesa standard.A very impressive screen

I've been absolutely delighted with the performance of this BenQ 31.5 inch monitor.Set up is an absolute doddle - you probably won't even need to resort to the quick start guide. The stand has an effective tilt mechanism, but no height adjustment. The power supply (both UK and continental mains leads were supplied) seems to run a little hot, but nothing alarming. Loads of options for tweaking the image and saving your custom preferences.In fact my only real problem was choosing whether to use the monitor with my PC or Xbox One (don't you just love those First World dilemmas?).Well for now anyway the Xbox One won (mainly because regarding my PC and to paraphrase Roy Scheider in Jaws, I'm going to need a bigger desk). Already spectacular games look utterly fantastic and truly immersive on the BenQ's gently curved screen. Please see below a shot of one of my favourite missions from Halo 4. At a whisker under 32", the screen is more than adequate as a mid-sized TV too and my second photo shows the also excellent picture from a SKY HD box. Both photos were taken in a bright conservatory and, hopefully, demonstrate how vivid the picture quality is. The image is rock-steady with not so much as a hint of flicker and, as someone who has had problems with flicker-sensitivity, that is a big plus for me.My only very minor criticism is that the sockets for HDMI, headphones and power are tucked away in a recessed rear panel, which can be a bit fiddly if you need to swap cables regularly.No big deal though. This is orders of magnitude better than my old monitor and will certainly enhance my gaming and overall computing experience (once I buy that bigger PC desk).

Dopo averlo provato per diversi giorni ho deciso di restituirlo. Il monitor non mi ha soddisfatto sotto diversi aspetti:-Risoluzione: la densità di pixel o la loro qualità danno fin da subito l'impressione di avere poca definizione, dal desktop al gaming-Colori: molto poco vivaci e "vivi", ho prefeito subentrare al misero e scomodo menu di regolazione con il pannello nvidia ma comunque con scarsi risultati-Curvatura: il raggio di curvatura è davvero eccessivo, rende scomodo e fastidioso aprire qualsiasi programma in quanto distorce molto le immagini. Anche in gaming l'effetto immersione che si dovrebbe avere non c'è e anzi appare tutto piatto e deformato-Aspetto: cornice plasticosa spessa e pesante e abbinamento di colori grigio chiaro / grigio scuro lo fanno apparire come un monitor di primi anni 2000.In conclusione non lo consiglierei ne per uso pc classico ne tantomeno per gaming o multimedia. Peccato, occasione persa per BenQ

Really happy with this monitor. It's 144hz refresh rate and bigger screen size is a treat. Playing fast paced games on this monitor looks amazing. The build quality is premium and the stand works great for height and tilt adjustment. Needed a little calibration for color and gamma but otherwise it is great out of the box. If you plan to utilize 144hz, please use the display port and a capable GPU.Cloudtail was the seller and the packaging and pricing was pretty good, got it for 37k all inclusive, but looks like other sellers are charging more.

Ich habe den Monitor im Angebot für rund 300€ gekauft. Primär waren mir die 144Hz bei viel Bildfläche wichtig. Bezüglich des Panels (VA) war ich jedoch skeptisch, ob die 4ms gtg nicht zu hoch sind. Auch die Auflösung kam mir sehr niedrig vor, immerhin kann ich bei meinem 27" / 1080er schon die Pixel langsam sehen. Die Option zum Zurückschicken gibt es immer, also einfach mal zugeschlagen.Zum Monitor an sich später, erst einmal der Eindruck:Ich kann in Spielen erstmal schon mal kein Ghosting ausmachen, egal ob ich die AMA-Funktion nutze oder nicht (AMA = eine Art Overdrive, soll den Bildaufbau beschleunigen). Vielleicht findet der absolute Pro-Gamer 240Hz-Fanatiker eine ganz ganz minimale Schlierenbildung, als normaler mid bis high-Skilled User ist das Ding für mich einfach nur sauber und sauschnell, auch bei CS Go, Overwatch, Doom und Co.Auch die Reaktionszeiten kamen mir direkt besser vor als bei meinem alten Monitor (Syncmaster P2770 mit 2ms). Ich hab mir dann mal den Spaß gemacht und bei 144Hz am BenQ und 60Hz am Samsung das Browserfenster auf beide Monitore gezogen, und, was soll ich sagen, der BenQ reagiert um einiges flotter als mein alter Gamingmonitor.Was noch dazu kommt: 60Hz bzw 60FpS haben natürlich einen höheren Zeitabstand zwischen den Bildern, rund 16ms (1 Sekunde = 1000ms, 1000ms / 60 Bilder pro sekunde = jede ~16ms ein neues Bild). Diese 16ms vergehen beim 60Hz-Monitor unabhängig von dem was der Rechner an Bildern schickt, bis der Monitor das nächste Bild anzeigt. Bei einem 144Hz-Monitor liegen wir bei nur noch rund 7ms zwischen den Bildern. Entsprechend erscheint eine Bewegung im Mittel auf dem 60Hz natürlich verzögerter.Aber auch bei längerem Scrollen war der BenQ deutlich schneller. Ich denke über die Jahre hat sich an der Elektronik so viel getan, das der auch intern "weitaus" schneller arbeitet.Auch bei Spielen, die ich auf über 100FpS getrimmt habe, ist es einfach nur ein neues Spielerlebnis. Das Bild ist größer, die Eingabe zackiger, das Bild flüssiger - ich räume bei meinen Shootern aktuell definitiv mehr ab als früher. Und, ganz wichtig, gerade mit den hohen FpS spielt es sich einfach viel angenehmer, da man viel einfacher mit dem Fadenkreuz auf dem Gegner bleiben kann.Die Farben und Schwarzwerte sind dank des Panels auch fantastisch. Ich kann auf voller Helligkeit schon fast den Raum beleuchten, das Schwarz ist satt, die Kontraste besser als beim alten TN-Monitor - das Bild weiss einfach zu gefallen.Dafür ist die Auflösung natrürlich der Harken an der Kiste. Ich sitze ungefähr einen Meter vom Monitor weg (Nasenspitze zu Bildfläche), und sehr viel näher würde ich auch nicht ran gehen. Aber auch bei der Entfernung und ohne Kantenglättung haben bspw die Figuren in Overwatch, wenn man sie während der Auswahl bildschirmfüllend angezeigt bekommt, ganz klar einen leichten Treppeneffekt. Mit Kantenglättung ist das ganze definitiv besser, aber ich könnte nicht sagen das es sich völlig gelegt hat. Andrerseits spiele ich auch gern mal am TV mit 40" und 1920er Auflösung (PC und Konsole), wo das ganze natürlich noch "deutlich schlimmer" ist - und trotzdem hat es mich mit der Zeit zurückblickend nicht wirklich gestört.Dazu kommt, das ein WQHD (2.560 x 1.440 Pixel) in meinem Fall nicht nur 250€ teurer gewesen wäre. Es hätte auch entsprechend befeuert werden müssen. Mein i5 rennt übertaktet auf 4,5GhZ, die RX 580 8GB ist auch noch mal 10% über dem Standarttakt - und trotzdem halten sich die FpS "in Grenzen". Overwatch bekomme ich in High Quality noch auf die 144FpS, würde mir aber bei höherem Rendern (WQGA) auf rund 100 droppen. Destiny 2 liegt bei 70-80, egal was ich mache. Doom stabil bei 150. Die höhere Auflösung würde mich vor das Problem stellen, das ich wiederum wo anders Abstriche machen muss, wenn ich nicht gerade ewig alte Spiele laufen habe. Entweder glattere Ränder bei deutlich geringeren Details, oder weniger FpS. Dritte Möglichkeit ist ein kleinerer Monitor.An den FpS will ich nicht schrauben, dafür finde ich Spielen mit 144 einfach viel zu angenehm. Auch die Umgebung mag ich nicht runter schrauben, das ist für mich einfach Atmosphäre. Das deutlichere Erkennen und Mittendrin-Gefühl bei mehr als 30Zoll finde ich auch super - während ich bei hoher Auflösung durchaus genügsamer bin.An diesem Punkt muss jeder für sich wissen, was er für wichtiger hält - wer jedoch nicht für 3000€ Hardware verbaut und Serverprozessoren und High-End-Grafikkarten im Doppel- oder Trippelpack betreibt, wird irgendwo Abstriche machen müssen.So viel zum Thema Spiele.Filme hab ich auch dann und wann mal angeschaut, aber eher kurze Videos - für richtige Kinofilme hab ich eine Couch. Entsprechend habe ich die Extra-Funktionen für Filme nicht wirklich in Anspruch genommen. Das Bild war (bei meinem Exemplar) einfach gut, was sicherlich auch dem Panel geschuldet ist. Lichthöfe habe ich keine die wirklich auffallen. Wenn ich mich auf die untere linke Ecke bei schwarzem Balken konzentriere kann ich einen minimal dezenten Unterschied ausmachen. Es ist jedoch immer noch tiefschwarz, und fällt mir bei normalem schauen nicht negativ auf (und ich bin jemand der beim TV-Schauen mitbekommt wenn der Sender das Logo kurz vor der Werbung ausblendet).Arbeiten kann ich mit dem Monitor auch gut. Zum Programmieren wäre eine höhere Auflösung nicht das schlechteste, einfach damit mehr Code auf den Bildschirm passt. Ansonsten ist er aber wunderbar geeignet - keine Ermüdung der Augen oder flimmern, wie ich es bei anderen Monitoren durchaus schon erlebt habe.Optik und Anschlüsse kann man auf den Bildern sehen, darauf gehe ich nicht weiter ein. Man kann ihn durchaus allein zusammensetzen, der Karton hat extra einen Part zum heraustrennen, so das man den Fuß wunderbar anbringen kann während das Panel noch geschützt in der Packung liegt. Platz auf dem Schreibtisch sollte man bereit halten, ebenso ist das Gewicht von fast 10KG nicht zu unterschätzen. Einmal aufgestellt macht er sich auf meinem Schreibtisch sehr gut, die Höhenverstellung ist gut gewählt, die Optik so dezent das er als schicker Büromonitor durchgeht.Das beiliegende DP-Kabel (Mini-DP auf normal DP) ist für die meisten das Kabel der Wahl: hat die GraKa Mini-DP schliesst man am Monitor am DP-Eingang an, hat sie DP nimmt man am Monitor den Mini. HDMI hat er auch, da der Anschluss aber laut Spezifikation nur 120Hz unterstützt, ist er auf keinen Fall die erste Wahl für den heimischen Rechner. Aber auch dafür leigt ein Kabel dabei. Beide ca 1,5m lang.Das Windows noch auf 144Hz stellen (Rechtsklick auf den Desktop -> Anzeigeeinstellungen. Da den entsprechenden Monitor oben anklicken, runterscrollen bis "Adaptereigenschaften anzeigen" und klicken, im nächsten Fenster Reiter "Monitor", und die 144Hz einstellen wenn Windows das nicht automatisch macht), und schon ist die Bildwiederholrate als Standart eingestellt. Bei Spielen wie Overwatch nun noch die Auflösung auf 1920*1080 (144) stellen, manche Spiele haben die Hertz gar nicht da hinter stehen, und gehen automatisch entsprechend hoch, einige (bspw Rage) cappen bei 60FpS, da muss man mal im Netz schauen ob's eine Möglichkeit gibt.Steam, Origin und Co haben in den Optionen die Möglichkeit, FpS bei jedem Spiel anzeigen zu lassen, so kann man wunderbar sehen was gerade anliegt - und dann kann das optimale Einstellen für die Wunsch-FpS auch schon los gehen ;)Wer eine AMD Grafikkarte der neueren Generation sein Eigen nennt, kann auch FreeSync aktivieren. Allerdings haben einige Spiele wie Overwatch und Destiny 2 Probleme damit wenn man es (im Grafikkartentreiber) aktiviert, und das Bild fängt am Rand an zu flackern. Das ist jedoch ein Problem des Treibers, und tritt bei anderen Monitoren genau so auf (Bekannte haben Acer und AoC-Monitore mit dem exakt gleichen Problem). Harken bei Freesync raus, und alles ist gut. Aber auch ohne habe ich keine Probleme mit Tearing, auch ohne VSync (VSync würde nur Eingabeverzögerung verursachen).Das Curved kann ich für professionelle Bildbearbeiter übrigens nicht empfehlen, während es beim Spielen wie ich finde den 3D-Effekt angenehm unterstützt. Auch beim Filme schauen ist es angenehm, während es beim Arbeiten nicht negativ auffällt.Für mich war, entsprechend meiner Einsatzgebiete und des damaligen Preises, der Monitor genau die richtige Wahl.

(+) selon le placement de l’écran par rapport à des sources lumineuses parasite, les reflets sont atténués.( ! ) Le coté délicat de la dalle incurvé , c'est sa manipulation : Benq recommande d'utiliser le calage incurvé pour coucher la dalle et accéder ainsi facilement aux éléments arrière (pied, connexions,)—————————————————À L’USAGE—————————————————(+) Utilisé sous OSX avec des interfaces de logiciel audio assez dense (Production Audio, tableur), j'ai un réel gain en confort "visuel"(+) A l’usage le plus étonnant c’est qu’on finit par totalement oublier que l’écran est incurvé. Grâce à la courbure optimale de l'écran, tous les coins de l'écran sont à la même distance des yeux ce qui conduit à une visualisation immersive qui se fait oublier — tant elle est naturelle — et une lecture moins fatiguante de toute la surface de l'écran(+) L'éclairage "backlight" est très bon et je le perçoit comme homogène(+) La reproduction des couleurs est réaliste et équilibré même sans étalonnage (on a une colorimétrie native conforme au sRVB).(+) Le traitement antireflets assure une très bonne efficacité sans nuire au contraste.(+) 3 températures de couleur bien pré-réglées : Normal (6500K) / Reddish (5700K) / Bluish (9300K) … et une personnalisation possible si besoin( ! ) Le mode « Low Blue Light » est un réglage alternatif du point blanc qui passe par l’atténuation du bleu. Peu d'informations technologiques sur ce réglages : simple balance RGB ou action précise sur la source Backlight ??. Pour ma part, j'ai opté pour la balance de couleur "reddish", qui est conduit à moins d'émission de bleu.—————————————————CONCLUSIONS—————————————————(+) Ce produit est orienté GAMER (jeux) … mais — pour ma part — il est également extrêmement intéressant et utile pour le travail (vidéo, production audio, mise en page, CAO …)( ! ) Je regrette qu'il n'ai pas une résolution de 1900 x 1200 (comme mon ancien moniteur "plat") … dommage !
