Is this the right stuff to fill a hole in a bumper? Probably just over 1" square

you could use it but you would have to glue something inside the bumper first(fiber glass or a piece of thin plastic) or pro f222 will just fall inside th bumper before it has the chance to harden.if you manage to do this you will then have to rub the patch down after it has hardened and then respray the bumper. my bumper was just cracked on the top ( i drive a hatch back) so i was able to seal the crack then cover the whole of the top of the bumper with a black plastic bumper protector that i got off of Amazon,saved me a fortune replacing the whole bumper. hope this has been of help to you. regards Graeme

There are no instructions with this. Do you just add the hardener to the putty?

Yes pea size mount of hardener to a golf ball size amount of filler , the more hardener you use the quicker it will set , within reason !!

Is it coloured black?

If you haven't already bought it then yes, it is black. It is easily paintable with a standard auto primer and top coat.

100% Absolutely NO instructions as to 'How to use'!Yes you obviously mix it but how much, how long to use etc etc!It just tells you how Dangerous it is.Although it's sealed there's a very strong smell coming from the tin!
