The themal imaging on this product is pretty good but did not work as I thought it would. (You can't see through walls or detect pipes.) However I found another excellent use for it. You can target an object and it tells you how hot something is in F.I keep birds in the garden and it's handy to know if they are coping well in the cold during the winter so I can take their temperature at a distance without stressing them out. The torch is really strong too and the battery life is very good. You just need to plug in the device via USB to charge it up and in a short time you got a great thermal imaging device/torch. I can see this item being very useful for dog walkers at night.

the item I received was preowned or a display model. box was damaged and there was chips on the front metal housing.

this device is great . I went through my local woods and by a canal and was testing it . I kept changing the image control to see the best ones and everything gave good read outs. Although it cannot see through things it still sees heat in everything. A great buy

Very solid camera with a very easy to use menu. Also came with an 8GB SD card which makes a change. Battery life is fantastic. The only fault I could find an it is being very picky is to get the SD card out is a little fiddlery. Apart from that Im very happy with it

Bought this as add said it was 15zh but box say it's only 9zh very disappointed so be careful

Bought as a general purpose tool for all manner of thermal imaging. Does a great job. Menu could be easier to navigate as with most of this sort of unit.

Nice in your hand simply to operate and it works

It was as expected. The most interesting thing is its battery. Lasts for days. Regarding thermal images, are as specified. Resolution is low, thermal not photo but if you are familiar with heat transfer, yes it is a helpful instrument. If you expect a miracle machine that could give answers to every leakage problem don't buy it.
