This is the second one of these I’ve had and the first lasted probably over 15 years. It’s absolutely invaluable for opening literally anything when the lid is stuck or too tight to shift.

I was struggling to remove the glass cover in a Neff oven to replace the bulb. I tried heating up the oven and using vinegar a few times around the thread as recommended by Neff, as well as rubber gloves and a jar opener with no success. I read a few reviews saying that the special tool designed to open Neff bulb covers doesn't work however, people have had success with a Boa Constrictor Strap Wrench. Once I had managed to grip the glass cover properly with the Baby Boa Constrictor Strap, it unscrewed with a little force. Reading online, it seems that the bulb covers on Neff ovens manufactured around 2003-2007 were particularly tight and difficult to remove?This Baby Boa Constrictor Strap Wrench can be used for many other purposes incuding loosening and tightening tap valve covers without causing damage to a tap.

So glad someone invented this for all of those lacking in the wrist and upper body strength! Really great for opening jars, bottle tops, most things really. A touch fiddly, could maybe do with a manual adjuster, but really, really helpful and useful none the less! If you don't have a man around the house, or just don't want to always have to ask them for help, get one!

What an excellent tool! We have a NEFF Oven and the light bulb went on it years ago, but whatever I tried, even allegedly purpose built tools, I could not get the cover off to replace it so to see if anything was cooked we had to open the over door. Then I saw on another review of this product, someone said they had the exact same problem, but used one of these to fix it. And it works! I feel like that bloke in the advert where they say "You're so Money Supermarket"!

I purchased this to replace one I have had - and relied on - for years. The rubber strap is beginning to show signs of wear after much use. I use it all the time to open jars and bottles. It is simplicity itself and one size fits all. You slip the strap round the bottle or jar top, hold bottle with one hand and push baby boa round with the other. It opens. Of course, it can be used for all sorts of DIY jobs too.

Works very well on a wide range of lid sizes BUT for several days after it arrived I noticed a very strange smell in the kitchen. It was hard to describe it but it was quite unpleasant and I eventually tracked it down to the 'rubber' strap on the Boa!!The Boa is living in the garage for the time being to see if the smell wears off.

Great tool for opening screw top bottles and small jar. If the strap was enclosed, thus preventing it coming out it would be even better, but not a major problem.

A great gadget if a little fiddly to use. I have tried it on jars of various sizes and I can open them easily. Well worth buying for anyone with dexterity problems?
