Flies great indoors, but built quality is quite poor
I am quite impressed with how this helicopter flies indoors. Very stable and very easy to control in very confined spaces. The camera works fine, but don't expect too much. The images are quite low res. The screen on the controller is quite small (with a magnifying glass in front) and the images is quite poor with a very low frame rate. I am also not very impressed with the built quality. The first one I ordered stopped working after two charges, but Amazon replaced it very quickly. The new one arrived in good working order, but the on/off switch is flimsy and so is the charge plug, so not sure how long that is going to keep working. The controller also looks and feels very cheap, but the controls work o.k.The outdoor capability of this helicopter is virtually zero. You can only use it when the wind speed is zero. Even with a barely perceptible flow of air you will struggle to keep up with it, as the forward speed of the helicopter is minimal.Try and get this helicopter for a good price, because it is certainly fun, but I don't think anywhere near worth the RRP.

Nice toy, but the product description given needs correcting
From the product description on this Amazon page: "adjust the picture quality using the complimentary graphic software provided". No, none is provided and none is referred to in the instructions. They may be referring to a later model that connects the helicopter to a PC using a USB-MiniUSB lead (this model uses a USB to charge only). The manual itself states that there is '5 minutes of flying time for every 60-80 minutes of charging'. It doesn't say how much the total flying time is so I assume 5 minutes (although I have seen videos on YouTube citing 7 minutes). If nothing else, this will teach children how to be patient. On the plus side, my 7yo son loves it!

Great toy!!
I got this for my boyfriends birthday (hes 26) and he loves it..he hasn't took it outside yet so I am not sure what it going to be like outdoors..but the smile on his face was well worth it. even his older brothers have fun with it too. So hopefully it doesn't give any problems, hes only had it a week :)

Extremely difficult
Extremely difficult to stabilize and fly in a controlled manner, extremely sensitive to even the slightest breeze.Forward/backward flight is controlled by the horizontal rotor on the tail, so it doesn't respond very well, and is extremely difficult to master.Battery time is limited to a maximum of 5 minutes if flight.

Oh, dear.
Looked good on arrival. Packaging was undamaged, however, it just wouldn't fly and it became obvious why, a bit dropped off! Not very tech. sorry,,,,was a birthday gift for my husband. Had to return it and decided not to risk ordering another.
